I just lost a level 30 rogue because I just disconnected for 20 seconds
Is there a class that I could have survived? It was just a single mob.
Maybe priest with the powerword shield, or paladin defenses, or hunter and warlock pets and dots.
What is your guess?
Well mail classes will survive a hit as long as you keep up with gearing via profession or the plain gear sold by venders
A pet class.
If you’re already in combat your pet will be tanking if you’re playing safe.
If you’re not in combat but aggro something while DCed, if your pet is in defensive stance I think it will still defend you which will take aggro off of you while you’re DCed. Not 100% sure it works that way.
Auto attacking Druid in bear form. Or hunter with pet on defensive.
That would be passive, not defensive, no? I thought defensive means the pet will only attack if expressly commanded to do so. Passive will auto attack anything that attacks you.
Yeah DC deaths aren’t counted in the stats but I imagine it’s a top 5 reason for death
No… passive means… passive. And defensive means it will defend you if attacked.
Priest with power word shield if you pull mobs 1 by 1.
At 33 I can tank 1 mob for full shield. So if I dc I shouldn’t be dead by time I’m back.
Hunter could be decent too due to pet.
