I have tested a lot of the characters and I can not find a good one for leveling hopefully someone on here can help with that!

Hunter or Warlock if you’re doing standard solo leveling.
Mage if you wanna do the aoe thing. Open world farming is a bit of a toss up since aoe hotspots are constantly being contested for by other Mages, and doing the dungeon farming requires some practice and tutorials, but it’s definitely the quickest way once you get the patterns down

Paladin is a top 3 leveler in all versions of classic
warrior doesnt need to drink. mage can teleport and blink. hunter is very resource-light due to the pet. one of those 3.
Feral Druid if you want speed and insta ques as tank.

IF you want to level untraditionally using a melee cleave or spell cleave its warrior or mage undoubtedly but at this point most the good gamers that know how tocleave well and keep a good xp hr rate is abysmal.
Pet classes hunters and warlocks are best for solo. Warlock is insane for pvp/fear so survival while farming/questing is huge. hunters get aspect 30% run speed which helps if used well.
Classic leveling just sucks tbh you spend as much time eating as you do questing/killing mobs. and spend 10x the time running around for the mobs/quest(fictitious/guesstimated numbers based on experience)
Really they are all good, just some are less straightforward to understand than others.
Easiest to level fast is Hunter because Beast mastery talent school is so user friendly and the Pet basically keeps you insulated and almost can’t fail if you aren’t entirely AFK… basically you only need to tell your pet what to kill…
The speed that you level on hunter is increased by how much you personally spend time actively in combat aiding your pet.
Second easiest is Lock; for the same reasons.
After that rest of the classes with Warrior and Rogue being the least user friendly, but they are not as bad as some people will tell you.

Confirmed, warrior is the fastest specially sword and board, you save alot of downtime
locks are free kills until their late 40s. They’re terrible low lvl pvp
I’m partial towards druid. Lvl 1-10 is more tedious than most, but after 20 you get cat form, with talents for movement speed bonus, heals to keep going without eating, and stealth when needed.

but druid is dog water in pvp until near bis gear including tier 2.5
Well if someone is starting now on the PvP server they will get ganked by much higher lvl characters so it does not really matter how good they are in a fair matchup.
“Warlock is insane for pvp/fear so survival while farming/questing is huge.” let me add succubus to sleep people while you run away as well. Didnt say they would win the fights said survival. Sucubuss is a lvl 20 spell. and you can sack your voidwalker for a shield before as well…
Cat druid single target kills is absurdly fast and you have zero downtime. If you just kill mobs you still end up leveling quicker than any class that has to drink water.
Evoked 10-70 rn is about 1 hour 38 minutes.
If you don’t like evoker, earthen monk sits around 2 hours 10-70
Rogue can have some speedy moments to it. My now cata classic series lead off was a rogue. TBCC part I was able to hammer out quests faster.
For quest crushing you stealth to the “boss” at the end. Skipping the time padding kills of trash to them.
drop them and take that death on the way out. It can save time spawns on the way out. It jsut needs you to accept that death at the end is all. Live long enough to collect the bosses “head” then die.
Hunter is a nice steady level rate. YOu can even pull in orange to red mobs sometimes. 1 on 1 them. 3 on 1 don’t end well.
Look at what the majority of noobs are playing to find the no skill, fast leveling classes:
-Warriors
-Mages
-Retnoobs
-Huntards
