I’m looking for a class that is best going through old raid to get transmogs, one for each of the type of armor. A class that not only can get through them but beat some of the surprising hard ones to do solo like nighthold.
for speed a pally
but for weapons mog warrior
do not know how warriors do in old legion raids
leaper + bounding, prot warrior
Blood DK. Doing damage = self healing.
Cloth = the only choice is mage. Priest and warlock are unacceptably slow.
Leather = Any of the four but rogue. Druid, monk, and DH are all very fast and have instant aoe abilities.
Mail = Hunter. Shamans are reasonably fast with ghost wolf but lack an instant aoe, which becomes annoying quickly. Hunters should take trailblazer and barrage talents.
Plate = Warrior. It might even be worth it to do one torghast run and get the leaper legendary.
Try to create a speed set on every character you do this with.
Oh.my . God. Shamans not having instant aoe actually triggers me so much in old content. Every time u gotta stand there and wait for 1.8 seconds before casting chain lightning HOLY!!!
Vulpera Hunter.
Trailblazer+Barrage+Extra Bag Space+ Camps outside for instant access to raids for camping+ Mail armor to farm for Dracthyr transmogs before release.
Warrior by far for the mogs. They can also leap, charge and WW through anything.
This mostly comes down to mobility. Every class 1 shots everything in Legacy raids.
Cloth - Mage. Only mobile choice. Priest would be second. Warlock lagging behind.
Leather - Every leather class is decently mobile. I’d say DH > Monk > Druid > Rogue though. But, a factor to consider here is weapon types. Druid can probably collect the most weapon tmogs. Maybe Monk.
Mail - Hunter. Not even a question. Plus I believe Hunters can earn the tmog for most weapons.
Plate - Warrior. Same situation as Mail.
Cloth - Warlock (not as fast as a Priest or Mage but pet classes are always better at soloing hard fights; has self heals)
Leather - Druid (Dash + stealth is always faster than fighting the trash. Plus, a bear can handle the tough fights and do decent dps; has self heals.)
Mail - BM Hunter (best solo class in the game for the past 18 years; has self heals.)
Plate - Paladin or DK (they’re equally awesome with good self heals and speed boosts. Down side is they can’t equip bows and daggers like Warriors can)
Cloth wise, if you are talking about one shotting as you go. Holy/Disc priest with holy nova and speed boost with the pw shield isn’t really that far off from mage.
Warlock use to have that (Legion?) ability that after corruption killed a npc it jumped to other npcs near by. That was fun. But not now.
Demon Hunter Works well. With all the movement to rush through it.
Plate: Warrior. Warrior has the widest selection of weapons, including ranged weapons and shields; and is the best ROI for sheer volume. Fury and charge will have you clearing content fast.
Mail: Hunter. Hunter pets with fetch, barrage or multi-shot, plus a wide range of weapon options.
Leather: I’m going to say balance druid (but I am biased). Starfall and moonfire plus dash and stealth and travel form will have you clearing content in the blink of an eye.
Cloth: Torn between warlock or mage for wands and swords.
Ultimately, you’ll want to bring each class in for the class-specific gear and some gear only being available based on role. But these four should get you started.
