I use the ignore button more than I report. Ignore means I never see them again (unless they alt hop) and they can no longer apply to any group content I have listed.
The ignore button is the first line of defense when it comes to blizz getting involved. Especially for harassment. If you don’t put them on ignore and only report them each time blizzard won’t get involved beyond telling you to put them on ignore. If said bad player continues to harass via alts then blizzard will step in.
I report and then I ignore.
I think my quickest ignores are the folks with the uwu-speak spam whenever they eat food or drop a banquet.
They aren’t scamming. There’s literally nothing in the work order system that facilitates any exploitation such as this.
You’re allowed to not like it, because people are inconsiderate, but they aren’t doing anything against the rules.

I use the ignore list. I only report if someone has done something legit against the rules.

That’s what I do too. That way blizzard can handle it and I go back to doing what I do.
I changed mine to “OwO Eating Rawr” you can change them to whatever you want. Heck you can even do /e lines I think.
Its gonna back fire on you.

Wait, so you report people who say “uwu” when they eat?
No, I ignore them. I made that pretty clear when I wrote:

But earlier you said you ignore then report. So do you just ignore people who say “uwu” when they eat or do you also report them?
I use it periodically … until I forget why I put them on ignore. Then I clear out the list and start over.
Ignore then (sometimes) report. That’s all there is to it.
