No changes is a valid take, I’m not against it.
One thing I would like to see is AoE looting like Retail has.

It’s not retail, but one of the changes from TBC was better stat itemization for low level gear. An example is the 2H mace, Mograine’s Might from Scarlett Monastery had 16 spirit changed into 16 hit rating which is a massive improvement and made it more widely desirable rather than a niche item.
Better zone transition quests when leveling.
A lot of areas tend to just end without a real picking up point, having a scout or someone sitting there that goes
“I see you’re done with barrens, I hear our forces in Stonetalon need help!”
No on rails though, I like retail but dislike the on rails questing a fair bit though.
Once you get enough responses of things people individually want you end up with retail.
That is a good point, however, I am interested in which singular things people would like.
The playerbase numbers.
We gonna get any non-humans in this thread?
Orc over here
High-Fives McBaginns
I don’t think there is any single one thing.
Legitimately, I cannot point to a single thing other than maybe the players, and even then, I’m not sure it’s the same audience.
What is retail or is that
Your post in the General Forums got some interesting replies imo.

I agree. I was hoping to get the other side of the equation here. Not as many come to this forum though.

From my limited retail experience, mostly reading about it / seeing vids, I can honestly say there was never a time I saw something in retail and wished it was in vanilla.
The closest thing is probably solo shuffle pvp but there are much more elegant ways to design good, competitive, pvp.
More so, it is hard to believe that any ‘feature’ would come alone. As SoD showed, open the door for a little retail, and the entire ocean will come flooding in. So even if there was a decent feature - it isn’t even worth considering because it will likely come with dozens of other negative features.
Vanilla has a pretty clear design philosophy that was thrown out the window at TBC (its super clear that someone was stopping the flood of bad ideas in vanilla and left during tbc development. Even from the first zone you can feel the impacts to gameplays and immersion).
Was very surprised with how many wanted something closer to the Era/Vanilla leveling experience.
Paralytic poison is actually very “Vanilla” in terms of flavor, and I actually do like “Shiv” from original MoP; those together were really good, and has a true “Vanilla” feel, tho I do not care for much else.
But I would never want that in Vanilla, because the game is great as is.
Dwarf mages, but thats mostly cause they were removed from alpha for ‘fairness’ and it has always bothered me.
