What is one thing about WoW you would streamline right now?

I said it yesterday, I would love for Coffer Keys to not be tied to doing world quests and just a reward for completing Delves with a cap where you get a key and a weekly from Brann at the start of each week and earn up to 3 more keys for completing delves. That would be ideal for me, what would be ideal for you? Is there something you want streamlined?

Profession leveling. The revamp is hot garbage.

Get rid of crests and/or stones. One upgrade currency earned in varying levels from all content. One item track upgradeable to a set maximum. Content drops gear at points on the track commensurate with difficulty. :speak_no_evil::see_no_evil::hear_no_evil:

Remove all time gated power progression. Let people cap in a week if they want to.

Talents, Legion talents again.

Also removal of cooldowns for holy priest, just too many cooldowns. For a lot of specs really, mostly because of class-side cooldowns that are better than random passives unrelated to your spec

If nothing else, I would delete class talent trees and just keep spec trees

I’d streamline gearing while leveling by just removing the level caps on heirlooms.

Oooo… good question…

I’d remove weekly, and daily quests of any kind.

We would get rewarded for doing the content by… doing the content we want to do. Run M+, you get M+ Gear. Run Delves, you can get keys and stuff IN the delves. They don’t need to be tied to World quests or the weird as heck World Soul events that have no honest use and are really boring to even do in the first place.

All weekly quests do is make people feel like they missed out and feel bad, which of course is by design as it keeps people “engaged”

You don’t need to force people to be engaged, if you have to, then the content you’re making them do isn’t fun. Get rid of all these arbitrary tasks and let the content speak for itself.

Delves are a great addition, the moment you make them feel like a chore, they get ruined. M+ Shouldn’t be a chore, raiding shouldn’t be a chore, question shouldn’t be a chore. Let us go at our pace. If that means that some people gear their character up in a day from M+ alone… that’s fine. They chose to do that and it’s what they want to do. If they choose to do it through delves? That’s awesome too, ya know what else they might do? Level an alt, and do it again.

I Know why gated progress is there, it’s to keep people subbed and get more money… but… ya don’t need to do that. A lot of us played WoW before weekly and daily quests because it was just a thing we wanted to do.

As an experiment I decided that I would ignore weekly and daily quests, even, if it was somethign I was already going to be doing anyway. Not having to do them, and not having the feeling like I had to do them, was freeing. I got to roam around, explore, harvest some materials, see what was in a cave that turns out, had more rare materials. And a rare spawn.

The game is holding itself back with thinking it knows how to get us to keep playing instead of just letting us engage with it how we want to.

This, because I really don’t like the “rework” of professions post-DF, and I’d change things if I could.

Also, I’d straight-up remove crests.

I’d just bring back Heroism and Valor instead, for upgrading gear.

Overworld content and normal/heroic dungeon gear you’d be able to upgrade with stones, no prerequisite.

Normal Raid and upwards, and M0 and lower level M+ would give Heroism, and allows you to upgrade gear from those.

Valor would only be for Heroic raid and upwards, and mid-level M+ keys and up.

I think having a currecy only for Mythic raid and super-high keys, is basically a waste.

It’s also annoying to have to downgrade some crests because you have a lot of a higher level crest and you need lower crests for an upgrade.

I’d simplify that whole area.

Probably professions cause atm it feels like you’re doing your taxes.

This game has an UPSETTING amount of currencies. It’s one of the things I hate.

There just needs to be 1. And you spend it on everything. Delve stuff, M+ Stuff, Raiding stuff, whatever. Just the one. They would just lock what you can purchase behind your personal goals you’ve met. Can’t buy Delve stuff unless you’ve done Tier X Delves. Can’t buy M+ Stuff unless you’ve reached X Key, etc…

Whenever I look at the currencies tab I just sigh and close the tab. I just can’t be bothered to care enough about them all.

Go back to AP Legion weapons for the whole expansion.

That’s my request

:ocean: :crab: :ocean: :crab:

I can see doing the world stuff for the keys maybe at first but it should get streamlined way more once you level up your delver journey a little. doing those chores just to be able to delve every week suuucks at this point. buying with undercoins is not a solution, we need those for other things

I’d put Tp’s from the entrace of every raid to whichever boss the team has killed. I’d put repair bots at the start of every dungeon instance. Void storage would be able to contain all armor/weapons of every quality. I’d like a new torghast with different and/or randomized themes for each floor (fel, underwater, dragon, goblin etc.) with binding of issac type power ups as a way to farm crests solo.

Delete the Stones+Crests system and go back to just Valor Points. It worked fine during MOP. Keep the different tracks (except Explorer, just delete that level and start everyone at Adventurer) and have Valor Points drop from Delves, Raids, and M+.

I would get rid of the crest system, or at least give them more intuitive names. Weathered? Runed? Carved? Gilded?

It might be boring, but just name them Rank 1-4 crests. Make it roman numerals if you’re feeling fancy.

total game wide rework on scaling.
Why in gods name they did it like they did instead of shooting for more ESO scaling is…confused.

Yes to getting rid of crests. I hate them lol. People justify them and I totally understand why they’re used but… ugh I just hate it.

I would add Buy Orders to the AH, so I could put a bunch of requests up, then log out…

I would switch crafting back to the way it was in vanilla, or go to a system similar to Lotro’s in its vanilla phase.
