Apologies if this has been answered elsewhere but … what is Illidan doing now?
The Antorus ending cinematic implies he is actually doing something useful with the Pantheon but what could that be? The Pantheon is way more powerful than him, they wouldn’t need his help to restrain Sargeras.
Likely a similar role to what Maiev was doing with him.
Minus all the sexual tension. Hopefully.

These are two contradictory statements.
Sexual tension was all there was.
Illidan never had anyone to interact with but Sargeras does. I’d say there’s more tension.
He’s in the tutorial for that game - he’s not very good at it
Sargeras suggested I Spy so now Illidan’s mad at him. The other titans thought it was funny.

In all honesty, the Titans should either tell Illidan to F off and eject him into space or put him in a jar as a freak study, a germ that grew into something unexpected. But since he’s purple Jesus of Warcraft, they are likely creating a chair at the table for him.
Illidan thought he was helping titans in keeping Sargeras imprisoned, only to realize to late that he was now forced to endure every lecture/friendship /redemption speech that the other titans bestowed on their fallen brother.
Illidan is suffering and is rather annoyed that Sargeras takes great amusement from his plight.
They are now participating in the Titans new sitcom: Sargie and the Emo, where they are forced into comedic sitcom routines for the rest of eternity
If we ever check in on them in few years time they will be bickering like a married couple, Sargie reading a newspaper while Illidan cooks dinner and complains that no one else does the dishes
