Hi, I just started to get into m+ so I decided to get Raider io since everyone requires it now apparently. I just wanted to know what a good io is that people won’t scoff at you for having.

People will decline you based on your class at higher keys, so score won’t matter.

Well I am a vengeance DH so I doubt I will get declined for my class. I hate waiting for people to que so I just prefer to que and get a full group already.
Io is based on the level you complete mulipied by 10. They do offer some points for failed keys, but they are mostly not significant.
So if you did all 10s, your io would be 800.
So a GOOD io is based on what you are trying to do. If you are running 5s, a 400 would be acceptable…etc.

I can tell you right now that unless you’re a Fire Mage, MM Hunter, Boomie your IO score means nothing for higher keys if you’re a dps because you’re just going to get declined for one of those classes.
if your goal is to push high keys… a good score would be as high as you can get it. Demon Hunters seem to be doing fine in higher key levels so at least you’re not playing a horrible class like Fury Warrior or something like that
2000+ io must have AoTC: CN, need, BiS covenant, need 220+ ilv otherwise you’ll get denied from +2s.

Just, start at 2 time everything then move to 4’s time all dungeons once then move to 7’s then move to 10’s
And honestly lots of groups don’t give a Expletive about IO on less then 10… Most just choose the highest item level

according to my buddy who has mained DH since legion, if your not a VDH, RIO doesn’t matter it’s a hard pass after +10 (from his experience)
best to just make your own groups, no IO required for that.
Good RIO is whatever you are at. Just work your way up and play at the level you can.
And people will look if you have a good IO to join your group.

Guardian and Pally are good but yeah that statement is pretty true. Tanking in higher keys isn’t even tanking it’s just kiting now which VDH has no issues with. It also brings the 5% magic debuff for mages / boomies without having to waste a slot on a havoc DH.
Your IO score is just all your best scoring m+ runs per key combined.
basically it’s 10pts per m+ level when you time it. A little more if you time it really early and a lot less if miss on time.
For overall score it’s better to make sure you’ve timed every key then to push one.
I’m sure this does happen but actually having a good IO is the one way to overcome this.
We’ll take non META with experience over META without any every single fricking time.
The mount is all +15s not +10s.
I thought the mount was at +15’s timed?
