The place is a breeze till you get to last boss and he literally dumps on you with 10 times the power of any mob in the instance. Sucks to waste a big chunk of time and lose on the last boss which no matter the power you got you cant get through. Very frustrating.

I’ve solo’ed everything.
Except the final boss on floor 6 on Coldheart or whatever it’s called.
Boss wipes the floor with me.

Feel for you.
I had to change specs to blood so I could make it through the final boss. Yesterday I finally made it through the layer 2 bosses by “git good” changes in how I play blood. For non tank specs I dont know what you do - maybe use group finder.
The tree boss was the only thing that gave me a run for my money. Only thing I’ve died on was the bursting skeleton packs when I had no idea what they did my first run.
Well gee, I wonder why.

It’s almost like the boss was some sort of boss; with special abilities and added health to make killing it a real challenge.

had no issues as vengeance demon hunter, bosses deal no damage
I got that boss to a sliver of health before he got me. I had plenty of attempts left but I was just so disgusted I left XD

Just go arcane, then get the 2000% arcane blast power.
I find the bosses a lot easier than the floors
My experience exactly. The floor 6 boss Is the only thing that I find Impossible to kill regardless of the fact I do the mechanics properly.
Having no issues currently with Torghast but that’s also because I’m killing every mob and getting every power-up available to get so I am certain that I’m more than able to kill the last boss once I get there 
Are you skipping mobs or not breaking jars on your way there? If you’re still having troubles you should look to invite +1 tank to your group and it should be a breeze.
Nope I do full clears, get absolutely everything. Grab vendor powers. All the like. Play a Outlaw Rogue. Even with CC my health bar Is what ends me. Even doing the mechanics. And only on the floor 6 boss.
I like that the bosses are challenging.
I HATE that it takes an hour to get there and then get told to pack my bags coz i got crap powers.
I would say that Rogue is on the lowest end of the spectrum for ability to complete Torghast solo so I agree that it’s probably hard to do if not impossible depending on your RNG.
Again though, if you’re still having troubles you should look to invite +1 tank to your group and it should be a breeze.

You literally have to kill the boss within 40 seconds on floor 6 before he uses that BS infinite range aoe blast that hits for 20k damage.
That’s par for the course for roguelikes
