Are people really buying green BiS pieces for 100g? These prices are insane, I have probably 20g in total. How do people have 100s of gold in a week at level 25
Simple, people buy golds, Since Blizzard is taking slow measure against botting, gold seller can just make a stack and sell them.
gold buying. The bots are rampant so more and more gold is being introduced into the economy every day.
i believe the question is how has the seller generated the gold.
Is this just about Humbert’s Helm?
there are bots pulling mobs to guards that are lootable in silithus all day yesterday.
Questing at 25 gives quite a bit of gold. 1-2g per quest. Can easily make a couple hundred gold finishing level 20-30 quests (group for higher level quests)
But a lot are also probably buying gold.
How do you intend to get to level 30? Dungeon and Mob grinding? See you three weeks into Gnomer.
You have 25k posts.
I think I speak for the forums when I say, “touch grass”.
Probably stocks grinding for starters
People who use up their quests would grind Stocks to 32 then they could start grinding sm lib/gy or go to quests.
So long as you have a group that will stick together anyway.
I’d have well over 100 if i didn’t give so much away, made most of it from alchemy
Yup.
I always thought the Classic Andies were overinflating things. They aren’t. SoD is insanely popular and the gold-sellers recognized this and have absolutely plagued the place with bots. Every single thing I can conceive of farming other than group content is filled with multiple bots. All cloth camps are farmed. Leather is farmed. Herb routes are farmed. They make it doubly unproductive because not only do you have to compete with them but they kill the economy but driving material prices down so even if you could farm it isn’t worth it.
Bot.
People are buying gold.
People have BEEN buying gold for YEARS. They know they won’t get banned. There is no risk involved, so they keep buying gold.
In other words, Blizzard is once again failing monumentally.
People saying gold buying don’t know what they are talking about. I’m not naive enough to think that people don’t buy gold, but at 25 questing will earn you gold fast. I have done it myself and I kind of wish Blizzard had disabled the xp->gold conversion. It’s just too much.
I finished the 2 quests I was doing after hitting 25 and got 5g. A determined player can get tons of gold, but to spend 100g on a insignificant upgrade is silly.
He did once. I think it was 2019.
Just because it’s on the AH for 100 gold doesn’t mean it sold.
Did it sell at 100g?
Probably because the seller doesn’t care what’s fair, they want 100g for it. No one has to buy it.
which is why people think they’re swiping.
