What is it?
Why is it often bigger than the update that it is preparing to install?

I’m just curious while I sit here, on my slow internet, waiting for it to download so that I can then sit and wait for the actual download to download. :slight_smile:

OH WAIT! It just finished. Now it is downloading: download manifest.
So What is download manifest?

They’re parts of the update process that allows updating the WoW client by only sending only the parts of the files that need changing.

In other words, they’re all parts of the download that saves lots of time in the rest of the download.
