Can someone please explain to me how acquiring Dungeon Set 1 and Dungeon Set 2 armor works?
Do you need to acquire Dungeon Set 1 armor before you are allowed to acquire Dungeon Set 2 armor?
Please provide an in depth answer to how this process works.

It is easy.
You get all the dungeon set. Then you trade it in piece by piece via quests to upgrade it to the T0.5 set.
Only the original set “drops” in dungeons from bosses/trash.

I’m not confused. I’m just hoping for someone to give me more information than just 3 sentences. Also, I don’t want to spend a lot of time researching other areas if I can find out more about this here. Just lay off.
I told you everything. If you want info on the quests, there are entire videos on it.
You farm dungeons for T0 set.
You trade in T0 set pieces via quests for T0.5 pieces.

It isn’t that complicated. Warrior set is bad anyway.
Rogue set is OP.
You don’t need the full set to start the quest but you’ll need whichever piece you are upgrading when you get up to that part of the quest.
You’re better off just looking up a guide on wowhead for in depth knowledge on the quest as it is a very long quest line. It is also quite expensive for early game. Will be multiple hundreds of gold for the full set, but they are actually quite strong for some classes early game, especially rogues.
Not entirely true. The quests are in order. So if you don’t want the pieces from the last quest you can skip those but if you want items from the quest before that you have to get all the pieces of the pre-quests just to get to them.
So it depends on what you want. Just better to get the full T0 set.
For warriors the set is called Battlegear of Heroism. Most of the items in the set are very good for warriors so you will want to work on different pieces whether you are dps or tank. Look at Breastplate of Heroism for an example.
The boots and chestplate in particular are nice, it will make getting hit capped easier with gauntlets of might and a couple of other pieces.
The set bonuses are not great for warriors but if you really need gear its a good option to have early in the game
To get head and chest you have to do the entire quest so you need all of the T0 gear like I was saying.
You can’t just get the chest and head.
I dont even like you that much but you did just find the youtube channel and exsplain that its going to be complicated quest chain. You did it perfectly. Not sure what the problem was man. its not really worth it anyways if he is going for a warrior cause alot of the pre raid bis you can get from either drop or BoE like lionheart helm witch is BIS for dps warrior. I would probly only do the dung set for shoulds and only for pvp. Also dont it cost about 1k gold in all to get there gear anways so the BOE items that are better anyways so you would use the gold instead for thoses. lol
Eh, I mean the boots are BiS until BWL. You’re going to run those dungeons anyway. Lionheart is not a easy farm, and the recipe wont be available straight up, and the first few are going to make a ton of gold from it.
Did they mention at all later dungeon drops like Executioners Helm? It is Lionheart but with stam on it, from Strat.
I said you need the piece you are upgrading when you get up to that quest.
Still think the lionheart helm is better mainly cause you get +2 on crit The other helm does offer 200 more hp but less str. So lionheart helm is better for dps and probly better for tanking as well till you get a tier set helm. anyways. If it does cost gold for the new helm from the set I would recommand him to save the money and buy Lionheart helm.
Frosstfire is annoying but he is right it would be easyer to just watch the youtube video. But you have to get the peaces from the first set the do the quest pay some gold then it changes the peace in to the new peace. Anyone want to confirm this. Also I recommed you not do the helm cause the Lionheart helm is BIS for dps and some tanking as well.
Just go to Wowhead. Why should someone rewrite a guide you can pull up with a Google search for you?
