I’m genuinely confused. So according to Ludas labs, the average pvper gets stuck at around 1600 give or take. Blizzard believes 2100 is the equivalent of defeating the hardest mythic content i.e. m+15s, mythic raid bosses etc etc and so reaching Duelist 2100 will reward you with the best pvp gear this game has to offer. However, if you ask any of the top pvpers in this game–Swifty, Baggeera, Cdewz, Snutz, etc etc, they will tell you 2100 is laughably easy to reach and thus considered average rating.
So if that’s the case, what is an average pvper like myself supposed to think? Who is right? Blizzard or the pvp community? Is reaching 2100 considered respectable or nah? Thank you.
With how many times you’ve asked this on the forum, I’m not sure if you are trolling. That being said I would say the average pvper is actually 1600, 1800 is above average, 2100 is very good, 2400 is insane, and r1 is out of this world. Also worth mentioning that your rating isn’t only judging you but the company you keep in arena as well. Some people will naturally have a much easier time since they have been pvping for a very long time with the same people.
I don’t know why you constantly lie. It’s actually so frustrating despite knowing you’re just trolling because some people genuinely respond to you. No one ever said 2100 is average, ever. Literally. No. One.
Asking a multi R1 if 2100 is easy would only be their opinion for themselves. Cdew saying 2100 is easy for him doesn’t mean he’s saying it’s easy for the playerbase. How could he?
Just stop dude. You’re beyond annoying.
It’s respectable to most people who play this game. Except in your case for obvious reasons.
Sorry to hear that you’re second guessing your value as a human being, but thanks bringing such an insightful question to our community.
I’m afraid I don’t have a definitive answer for you. However, during a recent AWC event, a similar question was posed by one of our esteemed colleagues in YouTube chat. Based on those responses, rating respectability appears to vary strongly by location. For example, they found that a rating of 1400 NA was roughly equivalent to 2750 EU. It should, of course, be noted that these data are still preliminary, but I hope they bring you peace of mind nonetheless.
I’ve reviewed Dozer’s case file, and am ready to make a diagnosis. I believe Dozer to be afflicted with a Histrionic Personality Disorder as defined by the following behaviors -
Examples of this behavior include:
fishing for compliments by pointing out achievements and seeking validation
being controversial to provoke a reaction
exaggerating and embellishing stories to gain praise or sympathy
pretending to be unable to do something so someone will teach, help, or watch the attempt to do it
Prognosis - not good
Dozer - please render me payment of $10,000 for my medical analysis
Is it respectable to you? I’ve seen enough of your threads to believe that you try to evaluate the significance of rating (particularly this 2100 mark). Idk if you’re being sarcastic or truly serious, because it feels like there’s no point to your threads anymore besides fishing for some praise/acknowledgment.
Stop worrying about others, the PvP community, or any the outside sources on letting them dictate what you think is “respectable rating”. For a 1400 player, hitting 1600 is respectable. For a 1600 player, hitting 1800 is respectable and so forth. A milestone is a milestone. Even if you’ve achieved it multiple times and you feel good about it, that’s all that matters. I hope this makes sense.
Look at percentages of the player base in each bracket and grade the rating based off that.
There are many factors to consider and it’s all subjective. JUST my opinion, anyone over 1800 is “passing” Everyone under it is “failing”. That includes me.
Think you need to factor in that the vast vast majority of video game players click their buttons and if two things flash at the same time they get confused. The average of people that actually play arenas is probably around 2k
Sounds sarcastic but those people that are making the low lvl random dungeon finder annoying played arenas and that big sub 1k underworld is gonna drag the average down
