Stream sniping will be HUGE once the game is released. Blizzard has created so much animosity between the WoW community and twitch streamers it’s like a million caged wolves are being starved for 3 months while watching a select few overfill their bellies and become fat.
Obviously, you shouldn’t be broadcasting your location to your enemies in a PvP environment… Although it would not surprise me to see Blizzard standing up for these people as they’ve already made it clear how much they value them over their own loyal community.
Is Blizzard going to be taking action against people for it?

Don’t invite streamers to your group or have rules in place.
What could their stance possibly be? Don’t kill streamers? Of course you’ll be able to attack them whenever you want.

If it doesn’t break their ToS why would they care? PvP is PvP and war is hell…
I highly doubt they will take any action against players stream-sniping as it is the streamers choice to play on a full pvp server.
That said, stream sniping is lame… I personally do not condone it. It shows a lack of talent and skill to have to utilize such things against them.
Either way, I could be wrong. Blizzard does respect and appreciate their streamers. While I highly doubt they would do anything about a stream sniper, I also know they really want that free advertising and if stream sniping became a huge issue they would be losing that.
There’s no way it’ll be a problem. If PVPers on a PVP server can’t attack streamers much, that’s going to result in an exodus from the game. I wouldn’t worry about it.

You may actually be doing your server/community a service by engaging in stream sniping and even camping their corpses. It should push them all to PvE…

Loyal community? Oh you mean like how I’ve been playing since 2005 and got beta access? Thought so.
I certainly hope that streamers are fair game in a PVP environment.

Not really. For everyone on the forums you have 1000 that don’t care
The players on the forums are a minority. The players complaining about streamers are an even smaller minority.

Same as blizzards stance on what the next season of Bachelor is going to be like.
I doubt they will have one. It is outside their perview.
Developer Interview: Well I guess you can, if they’re red. Rivalries are good. (paraphrasing)

I heard that it’s not up to them to enforce it. It was a blue post that I saw on reddit, I believe. If you willingly give away your position because you want to stream, that’s your own fault.

I doubt it. Streamers choose to stream, they put themselves into a position to be sniped

“PVP happened. Deal with it.”
I’m sure that’ll be their stance.

They don’t care and won’t take action against it.

Everyone is equal in game once the game launches.
On the forums there used to be naming and shaming rules, but those don’t seem to apply for streamers.
Anyone saying that “the majority of players don’t care about streamers”… just wait… stream sniping will be a daily occurrence… and rightfully so.
