What is Blizzard Doing?

I get it, it’s a new expansion. Shizznit happens. But what are you people doing to make sure Shizznit doesn’t continue to happen? Because it honestly looks like nothing. You guys only REACT to all the bull Shizznit us customers have to deal with as opposed to being PROACTIVE and trying to work out legitimate resolutions to prevent them from happening.

This was enlightening commentary on the issues with the current state of the game and how to rectify them. Thank you for adding this to the discussion.

I am sure this benefits us all.

Well this was awfully unspecific and vague.

I’ve played other expansion and this was probably one of the smoother ones. How does one quantify how many problems they prevented as we have no way of knowing?

Maintenance happened on a maintenance day. extended maintenance happens from time to time. Looking back I don’t remember a whole lot of extended maintenance happening. People are allowed to be frustrated but I think the ones who get vocal about it lose perspective

I never knew this a word but I now love it.

There’s a difference between maintenance/extended maintenance happening (which is fine), and the servers being up with tens of thousands of players still unable to login.

If this was a free service and not something I pay for I may be inclined to think of fixes. But because I pay for this service I don’t feel obliged to think of any way to fix problems with it. That should be included in cost. Especially given that most of the issues raised by customers are ignored anyhow.

There are times where there are authentication server problems. this is also not new. Frustrating sure, sometimes maintenance causes unintentional bugs. if this was down say tomorrow then it might be a little unusual

Yeah, but the fact that this is not new is the problem. How does a major recurring issue like this not get resolved.

Because each bug fix isn’t the exact same code being worked on. Any number of things can cause authentication issues. Doesn’t matter how much money you throw at something human error will always come into play

I feel like that’s a bull shizznit response. Just as many people play League of Legends, and this stuff never happens after patches.

I just can’t help thinking about how many ways something can get messed up when it comes to tech–and I don’t really know much of anything about programming and stuff. But if it was that easy to do, the jobs would be like working in fast food–open to anyone with no experience.

So, yeah. Shizznit happens.

which is ridiculous. I pay $15 a month and its absolutely a sin against humanity that blizzard hasn’t kidnapped perfect beings to do all their coding for them. Rest assured! they’ll be hearing from my lawyer friend bob down the street whos watched 2 whole lawyer videos on yt! This’ll be the class action lawsuit of the century indeed!

Male human paladin. Par for the course with that bunch.

Stuff breaks. Proactive steps should be taken to stop stuff from breaking. Stuff will always bork up. (And keeping coffee away from servers)

Bfa demonstrated that shizznit can and will continue to happen if given the chance.

Yeah come back and try again you made no sense at all… If you have all these problems how about helping them out and reporting them so they can be proactive? They can’t see the future and what is going to happen or break.

You’re right. There aren’t THOUSANDS of people on the forums providing information about their inability to login to the game. Effin idiot, shut your mouth.

I have not the pleasure of understanding you. Of what are you talking?
