What is best Delve configuration for a group of 3?

What is best configuration for 3 people in a delve?

  1. DPS x 3
  2. Tank, Heal, DPS
  3. Tank or Heal + 2 DPS?

(Group’s highest Brann is level 27)

All those are viable if you don’t do stupid pulls.

I’ve never grouped with anyone, I’m here for the answer to the question. My guess would be Brann as healer and then anything goes. Play with friends and all that jazz.

Ive ran all 3 setups.

Having a healer is kind of meh in them as most of the time Brann does enough with potions and the matrix area.

Tank and 2 dps works well

3DPS if one of them is a Lock/Hunter who can have their pet Tank.
Otherwise 2DPs 1 Tank.

Healer is a waste. Brann provides enough healing, a lot of the healing requirements would simply be negated with extra DPS killing stuff faster, and a lot of the mechanics are avoidable.

The best delve configuration for a group of three is to kick two people and go alone. :stuck_out_tongue:

But in all seriousness it would probably be to run a tank, heal, and dps, then have Brann as a second DPS using his rage idol curio.

Or 2 DPS, 1 tank, and Brann healing.

Brann now defaults to whoever is party lead.

They do not. I also do not group for delves except once. That was to kill Zekvir.

I’m a big solo brann enjoyer, I’ve done it on every class and role. I’ll tell ya it’s not worth doing delves as a healer. When i do group, I tend to keep it to 2 , but have run 3s with them. I don’t enjoy going in with 5 people, and prefer to keep it small content. Honestly, any comp will work, you just need to assign branns role properly. If you have a healer, then no bran healer. If you have a tank with high self sustain, and DPS who know how to dodge mechanics and pop defensives during AOE, you can also run brann as dps. Otherwise brann is your pocket healer.

The only role I haven’t tried a delve as is a tank, because I don’t play them. But I do enjoy them.

Delves are great tank trainers, just set brann to dps, and learn to keep yourself alive and practice your rotation.

Any configuration works. That’s the beauty of Delves. There is no “best.” This ain’t M+.

They all get their own experience, but only 1 brann is present.
