Area 52 is big, it gives you options that other servers don’t. With that said the BadBoy addon is very helpful.

Area 53 is amazing, but once you get to Area 55…oh man.
No noticeable difference. If you’re unhappy there, you’ll be unhappy here too. There are more people, but if you get into 0% of groups, even if there’s 100 times as many groups out there, we’ll 0% of 100 is still 0. There are more guilds but most are still cliquish or dead.
In short: Area 52 is false hope.
I transferred my main to A52 because the auction house on WRA was broken and taken over by a price fixing bot with unlimited money. It is fine here, just turn off trade chat. A52 trade chat is so full of carry seller spam it looks like a top streamer’s Twitch chat on a poggers day.

It’s a small settlement in Netherstorm. There are all races present there, but I particularly remember goblins and gnomes. The theme is Sci-Fi, as you can see big glass tubes in the distance carrying energy to and from the mana forges. The architecture is similar to other desert settlements like Gadgetzan.
Only on xpac launch, but that’s easy to bypass, just take the day off work/school and stay logged in from the night before 
Honestly it’s the best server I’ve been on in WoW’s current form.

Aegwynn shenanigans are cheeky and fun, but A52 shenanigans are cruel and tragic, which makes it not shenanigans at all.

People spending hours spamming WTS boosts, mythic, achev, yadda, yadda, yadda. (I want to transfer but all this spam, yikes).
That’s all big servers sadly, Area 52 seems to be shrinking a bit in player base lately. There are guilds recruiting if your eyes can catch the guild invite link fast enough before the spam makes it disappear into oblivion.
I would suggest to level a character in the server you desire before choosing to transfer. January 2nd is when the sale ends for character services.

My take on it from pvp…but I am hoping they are jsut a small subset of the people there.
But I when see server name insults flying in chat I can guess its a 52’er throwing it out. And be right most of the time.
and I’d give them credit. If…you know…retail had pvp servers. We all go to the instances here. So its not like classic/tbcc. You don’t need to be on say grobbulus for pvp. World pvp not your thing and an instance runner you can be anywhere.
I’m not playing this character this expansion or other alts, because expansion is too grindy and gated.
I’m not sure if you can or not on shaman, usually do Torghast with friends. I eventually got burned after grinding Korthia. I’m just messing with Winter Veil event because I’m bored. I will maybe unsub in January until 9.2 comes out.
