What is and isn't against the rules when Multiboxing

Were you running 5 clients on one machine? Yup you are gonna get pinched for doing that.

I have been running 5 clients from one machine for at least the last 3 years and I haven’t been “pinched”.

There shouldn’t be any problems with running multiple clients on the same machine. Granted you still need to be playing within the rules as to how you control the play within those clients.

I just spread out my clients across my screen by making them smaller windows. I manually click into each client window and do what I need to do inside that window alone. All of my control over characters are done one by one. I’m not multiboxing in the usual sense, just maybe opening a portal for an alt or flying them somewhere.

I open up multiple ones at times when I am ferrying around alts on my other licenses within this Battle Net (or even from another Battle Net).

You can have multiple instances of Battle Net open as well if you need to run a license on a different Battle Net if you just check the setting in the launcher to allow multiple instances.

Any chance you had been using anything like joeboxer or any programs that help manage multiple clients? Even if they are on your PC that can get you in trouble.

Nope I used isboxer like 3 years ago but I uninstalled it after the rule change

I have 2 accounts.

I, for the most part, use them for guild invites and stuff.

One account is Alliance and the other account is Horde. They can hardly play together.

Then something triggered that suspension. You might want to think long and hard on it, Scan your computer and maybe even reset it to factory and reload. Something you did or on your PC caused it. If you come back and it is not fixed could lead to a perma ban.
