Meanwhile there’s me, play with PuGs only, guildless, and every run is a success, even the scuffed parse runs.
I can access all the same items as everyone else can, just by playing my way.
Finding good PuGs is a skill, honed over many years. I’ve got invited to guilds, but I’ll just say nah, and they invite me to their next run anyway.
You should make a guide on how to enter a normal pug raid without needing to swipe. Seems like a skill many people have lost in classic.
Runs can simply exchange gear just like GDKP, but instead of gold we will trade high-value items that currently have a somewhat steady market value; something like iridescent pearls a month ago. This is completely fine based on the rules laid out.

This sounds even worse than GDKP. Because now instead of it being “even odds” for the most part, it very much rewards those that buy gold, over those who have bad luck and aren’t getting their gear.

GDKP was NOT a loot method in 2004. I was there…you obviously were not. The statement doesn’t even make sense when you really think about it.
'Vast Majority"? Really? No. The “vast majority” is sick of P2W in their MMO’s. It’s why the genre is slowly dying off. The “vast majority” is finally standing up and saying NO. If a multiplayer game doesn’t present and ENFORCE an EVEN playing field for all players…it’s P2W.
GDKP=P2W. RMT’s and systems that support RMT’s needed a HARD stop years ago.
The OP’s “problem” isn’t with GDKP going away. The OP’s problem is they don’t want to socialize in a social game. Socialize as in joining a guild and learning cooperative play with like minded players. In this game (and life) it helps to form relationships to progress EASIER. They don’t need to be deep relationships. I barely talk in my guild chat, but I do talk about the game and try to help people guildmates (and others) out in the game. Cheaters have replaced the formation of relationships in a MULTIPLAYER game to get ahead easier with RMT’s.
Oh…and the time constraints on the OP are just silly. 9pm? My guild doesn’t start raiding till 10pm. There are 1000’s of guilds across all time zones. When I worked 3rd shift I raided with Australians (good times!).
There are ZERO augments that legitimately support GDKP, RMT’s…or any form of cheating. If you don’t like playing the game fairly…find another game.

our top prog on the server and the only people that cleared naxx reliably was a GDKP group, same with TBC, and in wotlk.
How do i know this? because the top 3 guilds of my server all played with eachother and formed this GDKP with alts, AND HOW DO I KNOW THAT?! I WAS IN THE TOP 3 GUILDS ON THE SERVER.
