What does P/P mean and how do you tell? Also what are the other affixes? Thank you in advance for any help!
These are “Breeds”.
There are 3 stats that a pet can have
Health H
Power P
Speed S
Each species has “base stats”, so for example, every Rabbit starts with base stats of 8, 7, 9.
All species base stats add up to 24 (with a few exceptions), so every rabbit starts with average Health, lower Power, higher Speed.
Then individual pets get two sets of extra stats.
- P/P means it got two extra helpings of Power.
- S/S means it got two extra helpings of Speed.
- H/P means it got one extra helping of Health and one extra helping of Power.
So if you have a P/P breed, that is the most powerful that species can be.
If you have an S/S breed, that is the fastest that species can be.
It is also possible for a pet to get an extra helping that is mixed betwen all three sets. This is called Balance, so you can have a B/B or a P/B pet. But Balance gets a slight reduction compared to pure stats, so it is rarely best.
As a VERY GENERAL AND OFTEN WRONG guide, if a species has a P/P and an S/S breed, it is likely that one of those is best for battling.

Addition to the excellent answer above, if you’re choosing a pet for it’s healing abilities you’ll want to go for power, the more power it has the larger it’s heals will be.
Also unfortunately the game really doesn’t give you much information about breeds. This addon will show you what breeds your pet is and what other breeds a pet can come as.
