What is a feature from another mmo or multiplayer game you would to see added to WoW and how would you add it?

I was hoping for FF14 island sanctuary that quests for player housing. Perhaps the “neighborhoods” will provided something like this. Barring that, I would love to see them implement a secondary play mode similar to Dynasty Warriors meets roguelite for a group. Where it is action combat like Plunderstorm was but focused on surviving an onslaught of relentless creatures and waves and a boss mob every X wave. Add Vampire Survivor style powerups.

Wildstar-style player housing. I know we are getting housing, but I specifically want Wildstar level of housing greatness!

Wasn’t this pretty much Torghast?

Anyway, I can’t really think of anything myself. I like different games for different reasons and I’m fine with those differences being maintained since there’re enough games that are all trying to be like each other as it is :dracthyr_comfy_green:

City of Heroes shared power pools.

Imagine being able to pick racials from a talent pool while playing the race you aesthetically like.

I’d add Fish Flingers from Runescape.

It was my favorite minigame, that’s really the only reason why.

No… Torghast wasn’t endless waves coming at you. It was you going to them.

FFXI (to a lesser extent GW) Sub jobs.

Mmm. Demo + UhDK. More Dots and More Minions.
Hunter + Shaman, nothing like ghetto style tower defense.

Would be cool to have mounts that have specs. Top end Faster vs quicker recharge. Combat dismount vs resource gathering

Mounted combat (or combat dismount like a dragon breathing fire, then you jumping off its back to launch into combat, or bloodlust on dismount or pull in every mob within 40 yards).

Eh, it was still ‘waves’ with bosses though, alongside the anima powers. I guess it was more dungeon crawler-y but it’s not too dissimilar to me.

Nah man, Rift-style player housing.

Keys to instanced locations in the world, building blocks and decor you can acquire through in game activities (Drops from dungeons, delves, raids, quests, rep, etc.) and the freedom to move and place them as you see fit.

bliz needs to stop rendering all gear obsolete every 6 months. ESO you get crafted or dungeon or raid sets that may no longer be meta, but are still perfectly viable, so when you return you can kill stuff well enough without regearing from scratch, its pathetic in wow where you need to redo everything if you dare take some time off.

Star Wars: The Old Republic - The Force for the Alliance (Jedi), The Dark Side for the Horde (Sith). Not necessarily the two “classes”, but you get the idea.

Player auras from Rift.

Remove the reagent tab in the bank. Just have a tab in our inventory that’s an account wide, bottomless reagent tab. No more reagent bags that fill up.

Have a setting for which type of reagents you want deposited, allow them to be pulled out at any time, have it be searchable and have it just be connected to our inventory not our bank.

SWTOR did this and it’s fantastic.
