What is considered good dps for affliction in mythic plus at 630 ilvl?
I don’t play with a meter so I’ve never really paid much attention to it, but someone told me my dps today and I’m just wanting to know if I’m where I should be

According to raidbots you’re simming at 196k
Look at your logs rather than Details, which you should get BTW with the SimC add-on to get an idea of how you should be performing on Raidbots
There are times I feel like a god in game at top, until I look at my logs and see how much I suck.
I ran a key yesterday and one guy said I was at 1.53m dps and 5.3b overall. I was just trying to gauge how good/bad that is for my ilvl. I do know I made some mistakes, a couple times I let dots drop and I know I missed a few vile taint casts
1.5 mil is good enough for sure. It’s not the best I’ve seen, but its definitely appropriate for your ilvl.
Ok thanks I just wanted a ballpark of where I’m at.
What is considered “good” dps for affliction? Like 2m or so?
I can’t speak to affliction specifically as I am relatively new to the class, but in my heroic raid the top dps were pulling 2-2.5 mil regularly while the middle of the pack were in the million and a half range.
Thats a bit of a hard question in M+.
Each Dungeon is a lil bit different in how the layout of packs is formed allowing bigger and or smaller packs.
Depending on the Keystone level you are doing, the faster/more direct damage profiles of the other two damage dealers will affect your damage, after all if everything “dies in x seconds” by the damage of the other two bursting every single pull, you won’t have time to deal your damage.
Your Tank will also affect your dps, if he is a beast and your team is organized in a way that allows big pack of pulls without people dying the dps of the entire group will go up.
Because Dps is a measure of damage across time, and considering the factors above, a group who pulls packs in higher density and does not die will have higher dps because they are faster.
I don’t do keystones as affliction, but as Demo i can say to you that depending on those above my dps can range from 1.4m to 2.1m in the +10~ keystones.
Mists and Ara-kara the DPS is usually higher, while City of Threads and Siege of Boralus is usually smaller.
You could use https:// www.warcraftlogs .com/zone/rankings/39?metric=dps&class=Warlock&spec=Affliction and judge yourself based on it while imputing the key-level.
Just be aware that people don’t log as much m+ as they log raids.
