We live in BFE nowhere so we are stuck with at&t and it is very bad. but considering paying the $300 fee to have it installed out here to get spectrum fiber.
A $300 fee is really good compared to what I’ve heard other people pay. I guess it depends on the monthly bill too. I had a Spectrum guy walk up to my door last fall and offered 1 gig internet for $39.99 a month for 2 years so I switched. Lucky for me there’s competition in my area.

I have Spectrum gig as well - swapped over to it recently in the past year.
It was available for years already, but I waited because of the cost associated with a new gigabit modem.
I’m glad that I did wait because Spectrum upgraded everyone’s modem to that same model by default, for free.
I agree this is pretty cheap as well. I personally know people who live out in the sticks and had to pay thousands to get lines laid out for the neighborhood.
