When I originally made Nutts, she was a Gnome Protection Warrior. Her name was a multifaceted pun… first off she’s a tiny little Gnome who stabs giant things in the toe to get their attention… second she’s an engineer and a nut is a type of fastener used with a bolt or screw… and third, I often RP her as atleast a little crazy… when Legion added Gnome Hunters, I knew I had to shuffle some characters races and names around and make Nutts my Hunter, so I did…

My main name is Valrenar (not in english letters since im playing on russian realms), which is basically extension of Lor’Themar type of Belf names
Rachot’s name had the same influence as Nutts… It only made sense to theme their names the same after all… plus with the goblin run town of Ratchet out there as well… it was too good to pass up… of course I accidentally typoed her name but the typo stuck and it made it feel more like a goblin name even…
Most of my names are RP names. Sometimes they sound a little silly though.
Little Teeka’s name here actually came from a D’n’Dcharacter I have been playing in a campaign with some friends lately… a Goblin Sorcerer who thinks she’s a priestess of the “fire goddess”… her name sake was a play on tiki, as in tiki torch… when I made my Vulpera we had just had our first session for the campaign the day before, and I was drawing a blank for names… and originally I was going to have my Vulpera as a Restoration Shaman (infact I did make her one to start, only changed her to Elemental recently), and this humorous little thought popped into my head… Teeka is a fire obsessed goblin who heals with fire in my D’n’D game, but here she can be a cute little furry Vulpera who heals with water…

Lunysa’s name is a portmanteau of Lunar and Lunacy…
Almost all of my character names are Filipina names or Tagalog words.
My guess would be I probably heard something similar in the past and subconsciously used it as I’m not sure where it would have come from.
Faithe’s namesake is from a character in a story I’ve been writing, who happens to be a Lycan… so when I made a Worgen the name fit… though when I first made her, her class didn’t quite fit… I had made her as a Hunter at first… in my story, she has a twin brother who is an archer but lacks the ability to control his shapeshifting… while Faithe is more adept with a blade and claw… ultimately Rogue fit her character better in the long run…
Nearly all of my Character names come from Characters in Books although some like Shar’s here, got altered and shortened slightly.
