Growing up on the Ranger’s Apprentice novels, my Half-Elf, as he is today, was heavily inspired by those novels.
There was a point, in the beginning when he was just a simple Human, not even in the Moon Guard realm, just out finding his way in the big mean world until I found myself more immersed in the Warcraft Lore.
I absolutely adored the Night Elf zones, and soon after, their lore once I became more familiar with it. Slowly but surely, he ended up as his own unique, fleshed out character after several years. Still, I always look fondly back upon his roots and enjoy how far he has come since his creation when I first started the game.

My lady here is was inspired by a piece of art called Ethama by Dave Greco.
I absolutely fell in love with Kul Tiras and wanted something unique. So she is a tidesinger, an artist and oral history keeper. Not exactly a tidesage, but she listens to the sea and tides as she sculpts.

Many years ago, I decided to have an undead cowboy tattooed on to my right ribs in a drunken stupor. When I moved my priest to the Horde, I thought to myself that I sure would like to play a Forsaken…at that moment, I recalled my tattoo and kind of designed my toon around that concept(at least aesthetics wise)
Character wise… He’s still a work in progress.

I really liked the Sentinels / Night Elves in general in Warcraft III.
That about sums it up.

Liodred is based off of Doctor Strange vaguely, a master sorcerer who treats things very mathematically. But also takes inspirations from Malfurion/Illidan. He has a twin brother, Lioris, but they actually get along pretty great. One is a mage, one is a warrior. Their last name is Moonrage.
The very first character I ever made was a nelf rogue. I didn’t like the class, but I loved the race and the nelf zones. I loved them so much. Even after I explored the rest of the game, even years later, the nelf zones are still some of my favorite Azeroth/Vanilla zones in the game. Then as a kid, growing up, my dad was a huge fan of the Lord of the Rings movies. He had the collector’s box and everything, so I saw LOTR a few times growing up.
I learned how to rp on livejournal, in those groups where you take on a character from an anime/show/movie/book/etc and rp them with other fandom characters. It was easy to learn when you basically had a premade character. My first attempt at WoW rp I went with human, because humans are easy, but it was odd. When I decided to try MG, I made this girl and did a whole bunch of research on nelf lore to stay as lore-abiding as possible while I wrote her basic info out so I could start RPing. But for a tldr answer, I’ve always been a huge fantasy nerd, I’ve always thought elves were super cool and I wanted to make one.
