What improvements/changes would you like to see in regards to Crafting?

I personally would like to see the Quality aspect scrapped. It’s just straight bloat. Who wants anything other than max quality? Yeah, maybe you want something cheaper while leveling, or for a piece you expect to replace. I think the previous green/blue versions of enchants, gems, and gear did that well enough. Adding 3-5 subcategories to everything just takes up more inventory space as well as cluttering up the AH and Work Order pages.

I think not being able to pay a fee, or having a CD on resetting the Knowledge is pretty lame as well, specially when you have a new system being introduced that is by far one of the most complex systems I’ve seen in WoW.

I’d like to see Work Orders for Enchantments. I specc’d into Sophic weapon enchants because between those are pretty much what everyone will use, yet I can’t utilize it for others unless I have the mats to make a vellum and sell on the AH, or deal with Trade chat.

I think not having a bunch of cosmetic/transmog crafting recipes was a missed opportunity as well. That could have been a small sub-specialization for so many professions.

  • Scrap the work orders as mandatory progression and just let people craft.

  • Get rid of material ranks and just use the titan matrices to determine quality

  • allow respecs of profession talents once a month with a decent length quest chain.

  • Put EVERYTHING on the work order system including pots, enchants and components

I personally really like the quality mechanic, I think it adds depth to professions especially when they were very boring.

The work orders make it really easy to connect buyers to crafters, but they should expand the min quality from guild/personal to public.

Expand work orders to all aspects of professions alchem/enchanting.

Def either a questline or payment to respec specializations, especially because of our own mess ups…I am screwed on a main toon cant even drop it and start over…she is locked in to the specialization. /sigh

This is a game breaker for me. I’ve played since vanilla…and have never been this upset over this game, ever.

All crafting work orders, public, guild or personal well…no guild to request stuff from…only three friends that I play with…rest are all on classic. Public really is a must especially on a low pop server…hoping regional might fix this somehow? meh who knows…

Enchants, craftable mats, and anything that is craftable should be in crafting orders table(wanted a cooking bag made but no option to request it via orders)
