Going to try with some friends and we range 410 to 420. Is that doable?
If your friends can do m+16 with that ilvl, I would say yes probably will be fine.
Yes.
The only really rough fights at that ilvl will be Morchie and Iridikron. Morchie does absolutely insane amounts of damage, but if you don’t get hit by breaths and properly stagger/CC the clones, you’ll be fine.
Iridikron just beats your tanks head in with a stacking debuff. Properly manage that and you’ll be fine.
I think it also really depends on how well they DPS. The 1st boss has a DPS check because you can run out of floor space, the second boss can be very painful with low DPS. Also, Iridikron has a DPS check, and the last boss is brutal if people dont kill the adds fast enough
Sadly, Ive ran it with some under performers and have got to experience how bad it can be.
You can also just try it and quit if you feel like it is not working, you can always come back if you decide to gear up more instead. There is no key required or anything.
I think the general uncoordinated/under-leveled pug is gonna have a tough time on Timeways. That spiral mechanic is a noob slaughterhouse.
You’ve got tons of time for the first boss. If you’ve got strong defensives or healing, you can drop circles ontop of other circles and you’ll be fine.
Realistically at that ilvl, the far more likely failure point on that fight is the Healer being too slow at clearing the Tank debuff and the Tank getting domed.
I wish people would just give a number. I’m a pvper and don’t know what ilvl a 16+ is.
If you want a number, probably around ilvl 430 would be a solid place to start
True, although I would he surprised if a group that is starting out on their mains at 410-420 had the coordination to pull that off but not other content that gives better gear
The thing is that it requires skill and/or gear. If you are very skilled, you don’t need much gear. If you are 440 but all of you have no idea what you are doing, it can still be a wipefest.
It’s designed for 425 but if you have a good team who are experienced it can still be done. It also depends on the players. If you are seasoned Raiders and mythic runners you’ll be a lot more prepared than someone that sticks to world content.
The first fight is a dps/heal check and the second fight its a check to make sure you can handle a lot of mechanics flying at you very quickly.
I always say try it even if you find out you need a bit more gear it can still be a lot of fun.
Assuming you and your friends are at or left of the bell curve…no I wouldn’t. Even the first few bosses can be quite rough both in just pure execution and output. Morchie is a monster of a fight even for people who outgear it though that isn’t towards the end.
You should probably run some low and mid keys instead both to gear up and get a good idea what kind of numbers you pull. Specifically more your boss numbers over trash since the bosses are the issue in the dungeon.
It’s a pretty big mech check.
I somewhat agree with
If you have a group (which btw I’ve probably enjoyed the game the most in an irl friend group) then you could probably even push some keys and get some gear going, relatively easy 420-430’s if you spam +11s+ till you max everything you can out/craft.
We had a full leather gang as a meme once and honestly gearing is ungodly if you can get the boys to agree on plate/leather team.
I’m 430 ilvl and tried pugging it, whole team just gets 1 shotted at the first boss so I’m pretty scared lol
It not so much as ilvl its how much your dps is
