The chest will have the ilvl that was displayed when you hovered your cursor above it on the Mythic Keystone screen.
As I recall, these values came from what we were getting on the PTR. If it changed, it changed. We’ll see today.

A single 75 corruption item can be mitigated down to reasonable levels with just a rank 7 cloak and one of the new essences slotted (38 is super manageable).

How is that casual and what does that have to do with anything? I’m already half way through heroic and was only in there for three hours, one night.
The chests are a week behind, so it makes sense that the rewards would be based on what was available during the previous week.

Im still a bit confused tbh. My in game UI told me that I would only get an AP increase for doing more than the +10 I did. I know that it all scales to +15 now but figured for the first week it wasnt scaling past 10?
