Transmogs are one of the things that many players love to search through the game, making combinations and putting together classic sets.
But what if you could have a transmog based on some non-Warcraft equipment, armor and clothing?
I wish I could use that classic ninja look in my rogue, including Sai blades. for example.
Has anyone ever imagined this?
Using an armor or weapon that you have seen in a movie or other media outside of Warcraft, and was considered beautiful or interesting by you?
I always wanted to do a Walter White cosplay, I just never could decide what class is appropriate.

There are actually models for “mundane ninja” weapons in the game - they’re just not accessible to the player.
There are a lot of models like this, sadly. Even having some of the alternate color options for sets only NPCs get - red Deathbone/Exalted Plate, Red and Gold Soulforged (which is different than the default red and yellow Lightforged armor), red and wold Wrath, the red variants of the DK starter set…
Really, the minute amount of effort to make these available vs. the potential longevity of their relevance (unlimited) outstrips any other ratio of any other development effort they could ever invest in. Raids, Instances, and stats are here today, gone with a drop or patch.
Visuals are forever.

I want some actual normal medieval weaponry. Weapons that are something other than big gaudy planks of lead and gold.

I want my Demon Hunter to look like Asura and my Monk to look like Ryu from Street Fighter

I always wanted a charlie chaplin transmog. I’d imagine that I would take the game even less serious and I would eventually be kicked and blacklisted from every guild on the server. it sounds fun

Unfortunately the Chaplin Stache will be banned for atleast another generation.
Yeah, like Thuggin said, the stache would have to wait a bit. So… Buster Keaton would be a good secondary until people learn facial hair doesn’t make the person evil.
I made a shadow priestess; whom I wanted to look like Thalessa from Omen of Sorrow, but aside from the hairstyle, the one thing I don’t have to accomplish that goal is a cloth blindfold. Why does the only blindfold item in the game have to be leather?
I really like Chinese swords. I can’t link images here, but you can do a google image search for jian and dao if you want to see what I’m talking about here. Unfortunately, the only model I can think of that resemble these is a white sword from the Pandaren starting zone that cannot be used for transmog. So I have to make do with a few models that resemble nodachi or katanas, but it’s just not really the same.
Moreover, I like weapons that actually look like something someone would conceivably use in combat. These giant slabs of rock tied to sticks are no bueno.

Very played out but if I could make my rogue or DH dress up like the Yharman Hunter set from Bloodborne, I would be on cloud 9.
Either that or something like the costumes from Brotherhood of the Wolf (essentially the same thing)

Crow Hunter set + Rakuyo/Chikage please.
God I loved Bloodborne. There’s nothing else that scratches that itch for me.

Less of a class more of a profession.
@Luxoflux the swords that look like swords and such are in the game. When I show them to someone like you, they don’t like them.
Her outfit really looked too iconic for a warrior
I really just want her warcry, battle dress, and chakrams <3 Or at least an npc reference. Let’s hope so in shadowlands.

Let’s see…
Monks having Karate Gis like the Street Fighter characters, such as Ryu.
Some sort of Mecha outfit with awesome laser and transforming designs. I’m still super bitter that I never got the Primal Gladiator Elite set for Warriors from WoD, it’s an excellent example of this. I’m talking about Mecha armor that reminds you of like Gundam or Transformers.
More hooded caster outfits for Warlocks and such.
Actual Medieval Knight armor.
I could go on and on. WoW has excellent outfits with its transmog systems, but a lot of common “styles” for armor designs were looked over.
