What if we all made ff form accounts and…

Hahah so true. GW 2 forums are like that too. When I tried that game when it first came out I hit max level and gave feedback because for me it was a pretty bad mmo and no way I would ever try again, but their mods on the forums if you ever say anything negative about the game (and I don’t mean I posted “This game sucks. Fix it.” like some of these WoW posters here) you got suspended then banned if you did it again.

Because they can’t take constructive feedback nor anyone who just posts “This game sucks.” They are like those websites where they show their own reviews from people which are all 5 stars yet you go to Yelp or other places they are 1 and 2 stars.

Meh. I’m not real big on that kinda trolling. I like staying in my lane so to speak.

It’s like when that one idiot from Tumblr decided to “Troll” 4chan which led to 4chan posting vile graphic things in popular fandom tags on Tumblr in payback.

That too

Honey, ain’t no one got time for that.

Yea sure I’d love to give money to a video game I don’t play.

Yeaaaa the dev team cares about their game and community. Those people would be ban within 24 hours lol

Why stoop to their level?

I like both, and this more. I wasn’t even aware that 14 had an active forum tbh.

To be real it doesn’t. The community spends more time talking and discussing things in game or on discord. Sometimes reddit if it’s a bit negative which is pretty rare

You’ve been popping off with weird takes and I didn’t know you could get weirder.

Why would we all make accounts solely to get banned?

Not a great plan.

As someone who plays both I say… go for it I guess? I mean you have to have an active paid account to post on their forums so you’d have to buy the game. So if you want to help fund their dev team just to get banned I won’t stop you. It is rather petty, and as others stated the forums over there aren’t really active. Not in the same sense that WoW forums are active. They are an even smaller percentage of the player base there than they are here.

It’s time to find a hobby friend. Get out and enjoy some sun.

Yeah. If they were they’re very dedicated and contradictory FF trolls as they would have to pay Blizzard $15 for an active WoW sub in order to post here.

Point blank: You cannot post on these forums, either new threads or comments if you do not have an active subscription. If you formerly had an active subscription you can heart stuff but you cannot talk.

The people posting are real WoW players, former with sub time remaining, current, etc. They’re probably doing so because they’re obviously upset with the direction of things and probably most of them genuinely are enjoying FF but the reason they post here is because many of them feel like they were driven from WoW rather than choosing to leave for FF. WoW is the WoW killer not FF. WoW devs are the murderers not some other set of devs with a “blow them out of the water” better game.

I don’t think you’ll find as many people as frustrated with FF14 on their forums as you do people frustrated with WoW on these forums. Even if all talk of FF14 was removed, GD would be filled with people complaining about WoW with a tiny sprinkling of people showing support.

If you want to pay for a subscription to participate on the FF14 forums and troll, you will likely get banned - and even if you did not you would just become bored because the activity on their GD is relatively low.

If it really bothers you, you can blame Blizzard for not having as strict of a ruleset as Square does. But that would just contribute to the nonstop complaints regarding Blizzard on their forums.

No one from FFXIV has been coming here. As Soulebreaker said above, the people who keep bashing WoW and praising FFXIV on these forums are WoW players.

Similar situation for me when STO first came out, except I didn’t get banned by the Cryptic moderator. I was merely ridiculed for my observations. Other posters joined in so I immediately unsubbed. The game went ftp very soon afterward and I laughed back at all those suckup posters for wasting hundreds of dollars on a lifetime sub. Served them right.

You will have to sub. Also trolling will get you a permanent account ban. SE doesn’t play around with that crap.

i just think the recent surge will result in a lot more dual-players.

the casuals really do not have a reason to run back to wow, but will anyway cause theyre addicted to wow.

the good players do have a reason to play wow, but will play ff14 for an actual storyline

The reason is SE is involved with the player base. They listen, give constructive feed back, and actually implement the good ideas.

They don’t say “You think you do, but, you don’t”

They don’t attack the player base.

They don’t tell players to “Eff off”
