Eh, maybe. I honestly don’t see Retribution needing more than a bit of tweaking in terms of getting them “up to par” in the mobility department, so I think this would be better than a lot of the joke stuff people are spewing that Retribution “needs”.
Yes it would be for pve. Wouldn’t change much for pvp though, as its pretty much mandatory. But it would still be a welcome change.

It would already be better than nothing to be honest. I hope they shuffle pvp talents in Shadowlands.
They haven’t done it in BFA, and we have a lot of useless, never picked pvp talents and some classes will even have duplicate of abilities. Like priest have shadow word: death and I don’t remember the name of the pvp talent that is exactly the same thing.

Yeah, looking through my PvP spellbook right now and it feels like there was a lack of creative ideas in general for a lot of Ret spells. A couple are clear-cut, obviously BiS slots and the rest are worthless. Comparatively, my Sin rogue would shuffle between a couple depending on the situation.

Yeah exactly this one.
I feel like Blessing of Sanctuary and Jurisdiction could be baseline. Sanctuary would be niche in m+ like all our utility already so it wouldn’t be gamebreaking. And HoJ on 20 yards baseline would just be a Quality of Life change.
And by making Blessing of Sanctuary baseline it would unlock an almost auto-pick talent to be open for more choices. And Lawbringer should be baseline aswell, it’s just picked because its more damage. Baseline please.
Luminescence and Cleansing Light needs to be replaced though, they are underwhelming, terrible, adds nothing to the table.
And then we have slots for new and unique pvp talents to trully help us.

Thinking the same thing. If magic would be too strong then maybe curses in addition then.
Then again I don’t think Ret should have ever lost the ability to cleanse magic.
Or at least upgraded to be viable choice. Like giving Templar’s Verdict and Rebuke and additional 5yard range as well.
Its just a leftover from legion like most of the pvp talents. It made sense back. The whole thing needs a rehaul.
