i love my pvp its the best thing in this game, but i have excluded myself from it for most of this expansion due to the azerite and corruption system.

Considering PvP is 100% optional, I don’t see the problem. Just sty out of it until it is in a state you will enjoy.

I would not miss PvP. I would not complain if it was removed.

Just to throw everything into chaos. They should cause WQ gear/lower ilvl gear to high roll on all the best corruptions.

So a fresh 120 could run around way overly corrupted and be a glass nuke. A mythic+ player could still delete him, but the mythic+ player would have to kill him first. Make this old western style pvp, whoever draws and high rolls on the procs first wins.

Bring back templates to randoms. Pve pvp sucks garbage.

The moment an antorus mythic raider came in a BG, he obliterated everything because his item level scaled on template

That will never happen, you must realize this. Plus removing pvp would be boring, I like to dabble in casual pvp as much as the next guy and if I had to choose between pvp and pve for endgame I feel more tempted to gravitate towards pvp, seems more fun to me.

If anything it gives people a choice of different activities. So no, removing pvp altogether would be an impossibility at this point. Could it use tweaking? more than likely. If you don’t enjoy it, do not do it.

I think more players than you might expect would quit. One of WoW’s strengths is its diversity of activities, and with PvP removed that contracts considerably. It’s certainly one of the things I play for, even though I don’t partake in PvP at a competitive level.

PvE is cool and all but if that’s all the game had to offer, for me it’d get pretty dang dull pretty darn fast. It goes the other way too, though – PvP only games don’t hold my attention for very long. The mix is key.

Corruptions make very little of an impact since they were nerfed in PvP settings.

Thread seems more or less attempting to manufacture outrage. It’s not Sunday anywhere.

Having just leveled up a character in Battlegrounds, I think the PvP itself, pre-120 is actually pretty solid. It’s fun, and you always feel like you’re having an impact. That all falls apart with how ridiculous some of the endgame gear is, and how inflated everyone’s survivability is at 120.

Instead of differentiating into ‘tank spec’, ‘dps spec’, ‘healer spec’ in the battleground, all of the dps are self-healing, super tanky, and every fight is an annoying attrition war. Tanks are barely more durable than the dps, with an inability to actually do anything because everything is super tanky/self-healing, and healers might as well be immortal unless they run out of mana.

My other major gripe with PvP is that it is almost ALWAYS the cause of PvE stuff getting nerfed. If Blizzard took the stance of just disabling things they think are ‘broken’ in PvP, instead of outright nerfing/removing it, I’d hate PvP as a whole a lot less.

Until they fix the above, I wouldn’t shed a tear for PvP being deleted. I’d miss the fun that battlegrounds used to represent, but they’ve not been good for a long long time, certainly not at max level.

must be a joke. the pvp in this game isnt popular. it died out a long time ago. Yes, there are people that play it, but it would make a minor dent if it was removed

Strongly disagree.
It’s the best part of WOW TBH.
Thousands of players partake in massive World PVP battles, and thousands more partake in rated content.

On top of that, an even higher number of players play non rated Battlegrounds, or just kill people out in the open world.
