Lol I haven’t seen that movie in a hot minute.
There definitely should be more horror themed mmos.
The Secret World kinda was horror, but all the players were human and the combat was horrible. The story and quests however were really good.
I remember one quest that my wife and I did required you to decipher a Morse Code message. We could have googled the answer, but we actually used a translator, played the audio of the beeps and decoded the message. It was pretty fun.
I wish the actual gameplay was as much fun, but it was just awful.
Have an MMO that’s Predator vs. Xenomorph instead of Horde vs. Alliance.

I think an MMO that is more like Lovecraftian horror would be nice. Yes, it has been done before, but maybe it emphasizes more the horror element than the adventure.
I was pretty excited about the defiance mmo based off the tv show on sci fi. The show was pretty neat but I’m not too well versed in those kind of shows. The game was going to come out with updates based on each episode. I think it fell apart pretty quickly though. I do remember the gunplay being good though
If I am remembering correctly the game hung on longer than the show.
