So considering all the complaints on the forums from people who apparently have zero patience let’s say Blizzard listens and they change it to 30 minute rotation now.
What happens once you speed through it all in a day or two getting everything from it and no longer have any reason to keep doing it? Like I know, bet Blizzard knows, do you?
What’s gonna happen is instead of being on the forums complaining because the event is starting out slow they’ll be complaining about how there is nothing to do and they’re bored demanding another remix or something.

Edit: No not claiming the event is great it’s honestly super lame and making it faster won’t fix that
This is a what if scenario where Blizzard listens to complaints and how at the end of the day well it doesn’t change much people will still be upset and complaining. When running a company foresight is rather important when making decisions trying to predict the Butterfly Effect of an action matters a lot.
I’ll go back to my other grinds content in the fact that I got all the rewards from this event before it ended. There is winning, actually.
This argument is so asinine because it presumes I’ve somehow run out of regular content, or that waiting 90 minutes in between things to do is better than just getting it done?
How? What part of that wait is engaging to ANYONE?
Well unfortunately for you it will be slow at first but will pick up over the coming weeks just gotta be patient I waited 16 years to get away from my abusive Father sure you can wait like 4 weeks to gear up all you alts in minutes.
So when the people who live actual lives find their hour to log into the game to do the new event just to see it on 80 minute cooldown, they can just kill trash? There has to be a reason why everybody but you is complaining about this.
Right now I am playing for 10 min every hour and a half. Tabbed out waiting for the next portal event. Honestly 30 min would have been better. It is going to get that fast anyway. Just not sure why it couldn’t have started that way. Some of us have a lot of alts that could benefit from this gear and farming up the Residual Memories just isn’t worth the effort in it’s current state.
i need to live. these events being so rigid on time and waiting is suffering.
ontop of that, sometimes it dosnt even work! legit waited 1: 30 for onyxia. didnt show. musta lost her invite.
Or she shows, but the overloaded servers croak and kick you off and you miss the boss spawn. Good thing she’s spawning again in 90 minutes, I’d hate it if I only had to wait 30.
I don’t really care if it’s 2 hours or 30 minutes I am patient so just explaining a simple fact that no matter what it always ends with people complaining.
There is no winning and also Blizzard has incentive to keep it slow increases playtime which pleases investors who don’t understand video games very well.
