What if… A certain race’s racial gave mages an extra charge of blink?
The world would go crazy, right?
So why do we accept Shadowmeld giving rogues a stealth charge?
It is clearly an advantage today and should be eliminated.

Yes there is. Void elf. Globin. But I also prefer remove racial in pvp. If you bad you bad. Thats racial wont help much. Stop comparing with R1. You are not that 0.1% when you need to complain on here.
Ya, racials don’t matter for the most part for almost every class/spec, but shadowmeld IS disporportionately strong for all rogue specs, feral, and rdruid.

They’re not the same. It involves pressing two buttons (casting the rift with an additional global and then moving). It also has a 3-minute cooldown. Shadowmeld is instant and 2 minutes.

It is for sure. Still though didn’t whazz play orc in the grand finals over meld because everyone dies in stuns? So I do find it funny when people complain about meld being op for every class when even for the most op class, orc is at the very least comparable.
So yes meld is op. So are a heck of a lot of other racials.

You guys complain about meld, but im considering going back to my NE monk because of how much CC people use in this game pvp. Right now meld is a solution, sadly. And in contrast, azerite surge is quite useless in all game modes, unless you found a gap in your rotation
My feelings too. I’d rather they buff racials up than nerf things down. They already did a racial buff pass pretty recently and I’m sure they could do it again.
Soon as you nerf something to be worse or not worth picking, another racial just takes their place until every nerf makes them all useless.

I will say for locks as I think racial is huge. spatial rift has definitely saved me a few times where I 100% would have been dead had I been any other race
Azerite surge is so insanely bad it’s crazy. Earthen got shafted

Every time you use it, your character becomes permanently more translucent, increasing by 10% per use. Once 100% is reached, you can no longer see your character.
