Had all Void elves including the players get fully possessed by the void and become villians, then race change all player void elves to high elves adding that race to the game?

Lots of people who like void elves would likely be angry, and rightfully so, at having their favorite characters race forcibly changed.

Exactly. That’d be just as bad as changing all Gnomes to Mecha-Gnomes. It doesn’t matter if the Mecha-Gnomes are “better”, people grow attached to their character and don’t like it when they’re changed.

I mean, would you like having all orcs changed to a brown skin? As an explanation of “all the residual fel energy in your body has been purged”

 Literally almost every thread, I see them commenting all like “Yes, but lets not have that because we still don’t have High Elves and it wouldn’t be fair” and spit all over the ideas, suggestions & hopes of others - despite it being completely unrelated - To insert their ‘High Elf’ regime.
{Sigh} It’s getting out of hand

Fair enough, but considering void elves are so new lorewise
 what do people have to like about them? Is it the racials? Because those could easily be renamed and given to any race new or old.

Is it the idea of them being the only race to swap factions? I can get behind that idea. Only issue as far as I know is that no one knows when they swapped timeline wise? (Did anyone ever figure this out? Be super lame if it turns out they were only horde like a month before being exiled.)

Is it so strange that people like a race because they do? I personally like how they look. To me, high elves are boring (Don’t kill me, I never said we shouldn’t get them as playable, I just am saying TO ME PERSONALLY). I would never play a high elf, but void elves are a neat concept that I enjoy.

“Easily renamed” to appeal to people that like high elves would be nonsense. If you want high elves, get high elves and leave void elves alone, but don’t ask to destroy another race because you want one rather than another.
