I’m pretty sure you can play everything up to Legion (the last expansion) with just a subscription.

Not trying to sound mean but I would not invest heavily in Wow its not worth the money and has gone down the gutter for most part.

Save your money for other video games. But if you want to keep playing go for it your call you seem to be having fun.

No WOD still holds that record they just say it is because it is flavor of the month to bash the current one then next expansion BFA will be best ever the way of this forum.

The only expansion you need to buy is BFA if you want to join people at 120. Legion is included in the basic subscription price.

There were people saying WoW died with Ragnaros. And Onyxia. And C’thun. And Kel’Thuzad. There are always going to be “wow is ded” memes.

With game being in gutter/garbage like what I said. Lich king was far better expansion then BFA ever will be. Only other modern Wow game that comes close is legion…

Cata-BFA= All Lame only good expansion out of that lot was Legion which was grand.

But Lich king was just far better quality then all those expansions including legion.

Lich king expansion had tons of content and gave us the most zones out of any expansion.

Nothing in WoW can or ever will peak with arthas/wotlk. Sure we can have more subs and the game be better but let’s be honest wow will never be like wotlk or have 12 million subs ever again.

Because players from that era moved on they got older and started real life sure some may still play but the majority are long gone.

not gonna lie tho, I’m a big Warcraft fan sever since I played Warcraft III 5 years ago. But I didn’t want to buy the game because I didn’t think it would be worth it. a monthly subscription is too much for a broke lad like me.
