Well, if you buy the base version of the expansion initially, you can work your way up the editions after, which might actually be a smart way to go about getting the Epic Edition later if you feel $90-$100 is too much to pay for an expansion initially.

But no, I doubt they’d lower the price of the Epic Edition after release.

Yea, I mean, they’d NEVER change the package to remove those two aspects of the bundle after the fact. You bet, they’ll just leave those in there for time eternal just so they can keep their bored, idle customer support folks something to talk about.

Or, you know, it’s a limited time deal, and those feature go away when they, you know, go away.

Then epic becomes a pet and a toy for $5, which is pretty much what it is anyway.

No, it’s pretty logical.

Dragonflight Epic Edition is $89.99 and had no 3 day early access or beta access.

So you’re just ignoring facts to look for a reason to be mad or ask for discounts.

No, but I do work with plenty of customers like you who give us their red flags upfront by asking things like, “What will happen if I don’t get my order when I place it? Will I get a refund?” Then lo and behold two weeks later, they suddenly don’t have their product and want a refund.

The Epic is being sold right now as is. Either you want the product for the product or, in this case, you want the product later to be a pain in someone’s rear with ‘muh refund for not getting muh thiiinngggss’. When you’ve got well into a year now to save up for the Epic if you really wanted it.

One of the reasons i bought it was for the beta access.

But… these are clearly prepurchase bonuses and not part of the actual product you are buying.

You either pay full price, wait for the price to drop, or you wait for it to come on sale.

Those are your options. No company gives discounts on normal prices after the fact without a sale. That is the way it is.

No, because beta and early access are the bonuses for pre-ordering. No pre-order, no pre-order bonus. But if you would like to be outraged, i guess go for it
