(kinda rushed writing this so sorry if it sounds incoherent or bad :P)
So, I had a theory regarding the Undermine(d) patch for the War Within!
A big question I’ve been having since I finished the max-level campaign for the War Within is… “where the hell is Xal’atath?”
And now, seemingly out of nowhere, Gallywix shows up with no real explanation.
Now, this is gonna sound crazy, but I believe that the Gallywix we’re seeing ISN’T Gallywix at all. I believe… that it’s Xal’atath, disguising herself as Gallywix!
Here is my reasoning regarding my theory:
We know Xan’atath can disguise herself, she did it at the start when she disguised as Archmage Drenden. And strangely, Gallywix has been absent since the end of BfA. Now, Xal’atath has some strange obsession regarding the Black Blood, she had made the Nerubians gather it for her in Azj-kahet. Now, it seems that Gallywix has also taken some interest with this “Black Blood”. So I believe that after the events of Nerub’ar Palace, Xal’atath needed another group to do the dirty work for her with gathering Black Blood. And the Goblins were the perfect fit for her! (they were also strangely in Azj-kahet…) The Goblins will do anything as long as profit is guaranteed. Then, Xal’atath disguised herself as Gallywix so she could do her shady business without anyone suspecting it! I imagine this is why Blizzard have been quiet regarding Xal’atath, and also why Xal’atath has seemingly been absent from the expansion.

Both are equally as attractive in my eyes.
It’s not strange, he’s in hiding because he was run out of the Horde. But apparently he recently got a leg up that allowed him to get back in business…
The Ethereals and Xal’atath have been working together during the Dark Heart questline, recently there’s been a peek at an Ethereal thief boss that likely works for her to steal something. 
considering they were in two different places at the same time in the last three expansions, I would venture to say they are not the same person. Also, Galli Wick is extremely narcissistic and super proud of the fact that he’s the richest goblin on the planet and would never dare turn himself into a blue elf like psychopath.

People who thinks its weird that Gallywix is evil should replay the goblin starting zone. Him being a horde leader for so long was what was silly.

gallywix escapes yet again by showing off his smelly stinky rancid rank odorous feet. and then hops in his giant footcopter. and then fake alleria is like: NO COME BACK GALLYWIX! YOUR MY ONE TRUE LOVE!
Gallywix will punch you with his chin, you can’t tell but it’s so wiggly and it’s actually tactile, it can reach out and get you
That will be his tank busting ability

I’d be very concerned.
If it were so I’d also be very regretful about a few google searches I’ve made.
Oh well.
I said before that I am happy to get Goblin content even if it is bad, and I do mean it, but I would actually hate a twist like this.
Gallywix’s whole thing is that he’s a scheming, conniving parasite who became rich and powerful off the back of others. Having him secretly be some super powerful entity would betray the entire point of his character.
I think Gallywix is simply influenced by Xalatath. It’d be pretty easy. If she got to Ansurek, getting to Gallywix would be a piece of cake, since he’s mostly motivated by greed and void entities love selfish mortals.
She probably doesn’t even expect us to lose to Gallywix, just be distracted by the chaos so she can ready up her real big bad in the final raid tier.
I didn’t even realize until I watched that xaxas video deep diving the dreadlord gallywix. Needless to say I got sucked into that rabbit hole haha. Hopefully blizz pulls the trigger.
