Do you really think increased sub prices will be spent into better content?!?! Have you not heard that $200 million bonus package to Blizzard CEO???
Look I’m fine with whatever bonuses corporations give their CEOs etc, that’s their business. But Blizzard makes plenty of money already without needing to raise prices. They have the cash to pay for what they wish.
There’s this incredibly ignorant but common fallacy of thought that if only you throw more money at something it gets better or is done faster. Some stuff just cannot be done any quicker or better no matter how much money you spend.
No matter how much you pay the chef or how expensive the oven is, no matter how many people you hire, that pizza still takes a certain amount of time to cook and be tasty.
as with all companies, they would raise sub prices, a few things would be implemented to get people to sign up for it, then things will revert to how they are now. the extra money wont make any difference other than to line the pockets of shareholders and execs
