AND Jailer fight has a secret mythic phase. We get 2 secret phases in one raid???

What if anduin secret phase was arthas and us freeing them both

And jailer mythic only phase had arthas helping us

The fact that Blizzard is bringing back Algalon in 9.2 (penultimate boss is essentially Algalon, Big Bang → Massive Bang etc) after bringing back Ra-den in BFA is evidence that Blizzard prefers to make the content more inclusive, not exclusive.

Yeah cool let’s waste resources on something 99.5% of players will never experience instead of spending that time fixing bugs than 99.5% of players do experience.

I’m kind of over the 13 minute fights (and secret mythic phases contribute to that). I wish they’d cut back on that.

I’d die if it was like the phase in heroic arthas fight where you got pulled into Frostmourne.

If they can get a mythic phase into a nice 7-8 min boss or something that would be great. These super long end bosses can take a hike.

Secret phases aren’t new, and they don’t ruin anything.

People can always experience it by watching it on YouTube.

It’s not much different than LFR players not experiencing Normal+ mechanics or Normal players being unable to experience Heroic+ mechanics.

You wouldn’t have liked Mythic Highmaul, given that the Mythic phase on the last boss involved a small bit of extra lore.

I agree. Changes to the game have been made to hamstring socializing.

Let raid finder have nice-looking items and experience all the cutscenes.

And Ion Hazzikostas himself admitted that was a mistake and they won’t do lore-based secret phases ever again most likely.

That’s kinda what I mean. We get pulled into Kingsmourne or whatever they’re calling it and we have to save Arthas soul…or kill it because it’s been tormented by the Jailer so much.
