much better to do it on vanilla
They offered this during wrath and the servers died before ulduar.

They launched 2 fresh servers on the wrath patch, I don’t remember the pvp but the pve was maladath. They launched during wrath pre patch fresh with no transfers on to them, it may have sounded like i meant a fresh tbc happened, my bad if thats what you thought I meant.
we got a fresh server, and were all on it progressing towards tbc lmao.
that is literally what you wanted, its literally what is happening, and guess what? the TBC prepatch will come after naxx. bide your time and deal with it.

So why tbc fresh (start from lvl 1) specifically? Why exactly do you want that instead of what we have? Is it because you want it now? Or are there other reasons?

I want a TBC forever server … if this happens I’m gonna play Draenei, thus effectually starting from 1. You can do the same, and many undoubtedly will

i think releasing tbc on fresh servers without moving any anniversary character to advance into that will have good points
1-it will encourage new players to join because they won’t feel they are behind if they do not have full t3 lol “we all saw that groups for blood furnace and ramparts was asking for t3 people only in tbc-c release”
2-there will not be insane inflation, unlike anniversary going into tbc where anniversary already have millions of gold into market.
3-fresh start always give type of hype specially when the low level area zones are full of people.
ofc i know that blizzard will advance anniversary to tbc without any consideration and if people cried they might just open 1~2fresh tbc server just as they did with wrath and that failed because it was not a “fresh wrath start” it was just 2new server which is totally differant thing.

Pretty much exactly this.
To clarify, because I strongly agree with OP , Fresh TBC is entirely different from a fresh Vanilla server progressing to TBC.
Everyone starts at level one, Draenai and Blood elves right out the gate. No one going through the dark portal with 10k gold and 12 tailoring alts ready to just wash over content with the min/max meta for speed.
Meaningful upgrades in hellfire and zangarmarsh instead of rolling through with pre coordinated 5 mans in naxx or r14 gear to blitz straight to Kara/Gruuls week 1.
While i do enjoy the pacing we are on and having a nice setup of gold and alts, the alternative is also quite fun.

Yeah I don’t know how they could possibly interpret “fresh tbc servers” with “fresh servers, which eventually in a year will turn into tbc servers” lol

While I do agree it would be kinda nice to roll into TBC where no one has any raid gear or R14 gear… let’s be real, in a couple of months you wouldn’t be able to tell the difference between a fresh TBC server, and a progression server that’s progressed into TBC. Gold buying and inflation will be just as prevalent. Boosting will be exactly the same. Bots will still be around in large numbers.
You’d have a more “fun” lvling experience. That’s about it.
