I think the closed beta needs more players. they need to be at least doubled. I did a WoW quest in dark shore that I had never seen before, and I leveled 4 characters threw classic.
The lesser played zones are not getting tested enough, and there are still alot of big bugs with things like hunter and warlock pets. I think alot of bugs are getting missed, and the tool to right click on something and report a bug was needed in the stress test.
What Darkshore quest was it?
There has only been one month of beta testing = “OMG!!! IT’S THE END OF THE WORLD!!! CLASSIC WILL FAIL!!! 90% OF BUGS HAVEN’T BEEN FIXED!!!”
Being hyper vigilant about bugs in game is of the highest importance.
Where is the problem with that?
I think the majority of beta “testers” are just playing the game or following the streamers.
If there has been 1 month of beta testing and people who are only being able to get up to level 15 are finding bugs that people who’ve had 30+ days more to find seem to be either 1) over looking or 2) not caring, isn’t that a sign that we NEED more beta players to find these bugs before launch?
Finding a quest you haven’t done before isn’t a bug. Nothing you wrote actually supports your claim.
Theres a lot of “testers” that are actually bored with the beta and aren’t logging on that often anymore. Which is a shame. A new wave of testers would be nice for some fresh eyes.
The biggest part is just because they aren’t getting fixed doesn’t mean they aren’t getting reported. As someone who works in the behind scenes on a website: it takes QUITE a bit of steps before anything is done. And I’m just working on a video website. I’m scared to see the amount of steps and what-not it takes to do stuff on a video game.

Those streamers are “influencers” to many players like it or not.
You know how dumb founded that statement/question is? Only a select few are gonna do that. I think Esfand or someone said only like a very select few will do that because they will have to spend a load of money for consumables, engendering stuff, etc. The only reason why Asmongold and the others did it because they had nothing better to do (besides of course, testing the beta). They just spammed SM because they had useless gold.
To be fair, the point of the stress test is to test the servers, not fix bugs.
I was noticing a lot of weird stuff with autoshoot mechanics, on my hunter and priest specifically. Like bow/wanding would sometimes cause me to freeze mid animation but the mob would still be damaged.
The autoshoot was also really buggy and was hard to get working half the time. I hope that gets fixed before released since wands are a big part of priest leveling.
I sent some in manually but I would like a immediate bug feedback next test.
I also noticed that if you play a hunter your pet keeps lvling up even after you’re lvl 15 so that’s a new bug. But I totally agree with you they should let more people in the closed beta. People who have been loyal followers since Warcraft III. I have followed every game they have made, pre purchased every expanision, rarely missed a subscription. And one of my friends gets the beta access and doesn’t even take advantage of that! I was so pissed at him because I know many people would most certainly use that opportunity to have fun and make the game better for the release.
Considering the sheer amount of “testers” just following asmongold around on a daily basis, i don’t think much bug reporting has been going on. Nowhere near the amount there should be anyway. Think of all the hours in total is just being wasted on following streamers around, like when asmongold and his hundred or so followers played hide and seek with mcconnel. That may have been on the stress test servers but that useless stuff happens every day on the beta servers.
This beta testing is no where near as efficient as it could be.
You want to be a beta tester yet you didnt put any information in your OP to help find said quest of even allow people to validate your claim looking at the DBs to see if the quest did exsist or not.
Having leveled more than 4 characters in Vanilla and 1.5 in beta. i havent come across any quests that have been out of place yet.
It would help to get more people to help test, but overall don’t expect perfection after one month of testing.
Was watching my favorite streamer today and he was commenting on how there were hardly any players in the game world.
A little strange to me that they’d have such low numbers for a beta.
I can’t wait for release. Mainly because we’ll get a fresh set of complaint topics on the forums.
