Woot! ^.^ I look forward to collecting those again, thanks for the response!
Speaking of Darkmoon Faire, were the deck introduced in Vanilla or TBC? I can't seem to remember, but I do remember working hard to assemble mine and being very proud of my epic trinket.
Yes the cards are in 1.12.
Wait are you sure? Don't you need Inscription for them? ir was there another way to get them then?

Wtf is Peon's day?
I had the same question, I read that it was only on EU servers and correlated to a labor type day? ..or something.
Peon Day
September 30th (EU only)
On September 30, goblin vendors arrived in Stormwind City and Orgrimmar. These vendors sold fireworks at discounted prices. The reason? So that everyone might celebrate the day that was saved by the hard work of the mighty peon and the great peasant!
Legend has it that long ago, the leaders of the two races, orc and human, each called upon a lowly worker and assigned him a great task. This task had to be finished by the end of the day, lest the world suffer grave consequence. Working diligently, both completed their task four minutes before the day ended. Thus, on the anniversary of that day, we celebrate in honor of all the peons and peasants everywhere.
Peon Day coincides with the anniversary of the European Closed Beta Test. It was thought to have been removed from the game in 2007 when the Harvest Festival was moved to the end of September (displaced by Brewfest.) However, the holiday vendors were seen around Orgrimmar, Stormwind City, and Ratchet. This proves that the goblins of Undermine still care. During this event, one-day-a-year fireworks and the [Green Firework] used in a Darkmoon Faire quest are sold.
NOTE: Peon Day is only available on European realms.

In vanilla pservers, the innkeepers trick or treat. Nothing fantastic, pretty much a funny mask or you get turned into a pirate etc.I am assuming it was that way during Vanilla.
