Gnome Paladins
Gnome Druids
Gnome Shaman
Gnome Jedi with flying shark mount equipped with functional laser cannons.
Warbands and transmog will be nice changes but not enough to get hyped over.
Delves could be good…but Torghast also could have been good and it was a flop so Im not holding my breath.
All my characters sitting around a camp fire at the character select screen.
That is all.
Warbands, Delves, and expanding Dragon Riding (aka “dynamic fliying”) to other mounts. I’m still waiting to see how everything will be implemented before buying, though.
War Bands for sure. No leveling faction with 4-5 characters
Probably Metzen, but he’s wearing off.
Follower dungeons has me really excited, to be honest.
Dracthyr finally being able to really fly is the other. It’s about dang time.
Just something different. And the possibility however remote that it will be fun in some way or other. Tired of drudgery.
I’m looking forward to the playable spider people (this is a negative-free zone, don’t burst my bubble).
That’s ok, I don’t really play to get the best gear anyway. I just like doing the dungeons for the content. Even now all my gear is just what I can get from world quests/renown etc. I’m not really one to push progression. Mostly we do old raids for transmog/mounts.
It’s why I really wish WoW had housing so I had more to do. I love the world and the lore and enjoy playing, even to just fly around and fish and take screen shots and stuff and work on crafting. But if I could also craft furniture and spend my gold upgrading/decorating and do farming and stuff that’d be cool too.
I am curious if they would be anywhere near as lucrative as ESO delves, especially after the first time completion for the day, or week, or whenever a delve reset takes place.
Heard that and approve
I am still coming to terms with Blizzard still trying to flog a dead horse by now changing Anduin from a weeping Brad Pitt to a weeping Paul Walker look a like and still not getting the fact its his whole weak, miserable character that needs fixing or deleting. Beginning to think the writer working on this character needs some counselling rather than doing a self exploration of their emotions using Anduin as their canvas.
I think delves in WoW are going to be different than delves in ESO. Especially with how they said delves are meant to be a potential fourth pillar. In ESO they give you a piece of the zone set and a chunk of xp, but once you’re at max level, they exist to check off a box on the achievement list. In WoW they sound like endgame solo content. I could be wrong, though.
The Pureblood Firehawk will get dragon riding utility very soon. The other is the Fire Mage rework that we’ve been yearning ever since Cata.
I am excited for Warbands. I have always thought of my various Horde and Alliance alts as friends who cooperate and roll their eyes at faction conflict. Now they can make it official.
First allow me my time to smirk at the standard “expansion is looking terrible, it’s the laziest design, everything looks stupid I’m quitting “ type posts. Blah blah yeah it’s same stuff every expansion.
And everyone has their opinion and I just shared mine about it.
That said I don’t particularly get excited for wow expansions like I once did back in the tbc and wrath days myself…but I am interested in some things though in TWW
Delves are top of my list, the concept it’s very good. Finally something that can be engaged at end game even if play solo.
The general coolness (at least to me) of that first time playing thru story and exploring new areas.
Warbands though I think it’s funny it’s treated as a feature , we’ve asked for account wide achievements reputation and ease of pooling resources like bank storage across our account for years. But it’s coming and I’ll take it.
The dynamic flying on various mounts
And this one …EARTHEN!!!
Being able to get transmogs for classes I’m not using. Going to do a bunch of raid runs.
I’m in the same boat. More alt-friendly design via warbands and Delves have me cautiously optimistic.
SOLO/NPC DUNGEONS! This is my number 1 thing that I am excited about. I have not done any current dungeon content in almost a decade because other humans are involved. I have panic attacks. I also get lost really easily. It becomes an accessibility issue for me.
I am beyond excited that we can finally just do dungeons at our pace, see the story, finish quests without upsettting a go-go pug. I can even learn the dungeon increasing my chances of not messing up if I decide to do a more difficult level with others.
I feel like if I had one wish for WoW, that it was granted. I wrote a whole essay on it years ago, and I KNOW that me writing that is not why they did it. I only hope it added to their thoughts on how to make the game more solo/alt friendly and accessible to a wider range of players
