As the title suggests. I am curious, what is something that you’ve learned while playing WoW, that you use in real life? For me it has been typing.
Its taught me that its imperfect as an mmorpg experience, as I am needlessly capped on progression where I can succeed in others.
It taught me sometimes just putting stuff up on the AH (ebay) is better than shouting about it and seeing if anyone does want it (trade groups, subreddits) because everyone else is talking about random sh*t (trade chat)
Ignore trade chat
It taught me that if I final verdict someone in the real world, there’s consequences.
It’s taught me that there is never enough bag space

“What do you MEAN my inventory is full? I have at least 30- oh”

WoW taught me that what I thought was happening in some lines of work, some disciplines, is happening everywhere all the time.

Literally nothing else matters to powerful people anymore.
I learned that anonymity is one of the worst things you can give people, to encourage social interactivity.
On a side note, I already had map-reading skills, decent reading and typing skills, leadership training. and speaking in public, so I had no problems talking to people, and was usually able to suss out where the quest objectives were. Sometimes, I needed to strengthen my Thottbot skills, to figure out where to go next.

That punctuation is optional when complaining about literacy.
the game that they created showed me how low and sad these people are.
gw in failing, what’s your next failure going to be… not like this is really a gaming company anymore. its more, let’s lie to get money.
hope this company falls very hard now
it taught me that the baddies in life are always greedy, selfish, egotistical maniacs willing to exploit their people for personal gain, even til they ultimately fall.
wonder if the writers are trying to tell us something…
Players generally feel an overblown sense of entitlement.
Given said baddies plot armors no probably not
Patience, a thicker skin, and not every thing is personal nor am I the center of the universe.
Cool question. It would be equally cool to ask the reverse at some point!
All the important things in life such as politics, who has sex with different members of families, anl achievs accomplishments in trade chat.
