Yes fellow gamer. It builds character.
Just seems unreasonable to me that youâre straight up being prevented from engaging with a particular piece of content due to prohibitive respec costs and nothing else.
Youâre too weak to walk uphill in the snow both to work and back home?
It is not bad now that we get 30% SP from gear and also Natureâs Blessing which provides 30% of total intellect as SP. Earth shield with healing focus is insane.
Imagine thinking 50 gold isnt chump change
There is no way Iâm not running BM in bgâs lol
you can raid as subtlety, problem solved, raids are a joke. join a guild.
You pay it from the 10,000 gold you have because you play the game?
The more fun option is make an Alt with the different spec, boom more content.
I would pay 50g per day to stop new post about dual spec. That cheap it is.
Is this sarcasm?
I just have to find some place that zzzâs exist, and Iâm good.
You spend 50g.
No. You literally do not need to play this game. âŚ
obviouslyâŚ
If you play TBC for a year, and you want to switch your spec only once a week, lets say after raid so you can do arena the rest of the week its still going to cost you over 2500 gold a year. This amount is not insane or undoable by any means, but itâs an annoying and a frustrating sum to give for what is clearly just bad game design. And they know this because they gave us dual spec in wrath to save us from this headache. TBC classic is already different from itâs original installment in so many ways. The only groups that would be upset over dual spec in TBC are the endangered species of no change andys and the petty whales in this thread that are botters and gold buyers.
Would you submit your account to a full investigation to see if you have bought gold or botted to make gold?
You are right choices do matter in those games and thatâs what make a lot of RPGs fun, but those are single player RPGs and its almost unheard of for games that have a PvP ladder to gatekeep things like talents.
Yeah lemme go ahead and do that to prove to some forum random that I donât buy gold because I think 50g is chump change
itâs reduced by 5g every month
itâs way easier to make gold in tbc so 50g shouldnât be that much of a problem tbh.
My biggest concern of dual spec is it invalidates alot of the niche builds like paladin 40/21/0 (aoe farm build which can primary heal alot of content) you would just run deep holy for raid heals and prot/ret for farming. It removes alot of player agency to choose to be 90% optimal for a range of content over 100% for 1 type. This is one of the flaws retail also has there is no point picking anything less than 100% if you can change freely.
Oh look, another thought provoking, and completely original thread. Thank you op for opening my eyes.
