If you’re already max level and then race change do you keep your previous races armor or get the new ones.
You keep the transmog, but your character will log in naked and won’t be able to use it. You won’t automatically get the heritage of your new race, but IIRC your reputation will transfer over so you’ll immediately be able to do the quest for them – assuming they aren’t Allied Races, in which case the only way to obtain it is to level from scratch.
You don’t get to use the old one because it doesn’t fit your new race. You can use the new race’s heritage set but ONLY if you unlocked it on another character that you leveled yourself. So for example if I changed my void elf to dark iron I can’t use the void elf one because I’m no longer a void elf - and I also can’t use the dark iron one because I haven’t leveled a dark iron dwarf. If I level a random dark iron to max though, I will still be able to use the newly acquired heritage set on my race changed character. The reason for this is the same as why race changing my human to dark iron wouldn’t auto unlock it, or boosting to max level wouldn’t unlock it. But hey, at least leveling is easier these days so you can set aside a day or two and get the heritage set you want with no problems.
