Usually it’s after you leave the raid or the roll is completed after you leave but i have noticed sometimes it’s a few minutes delay.
i won 2 rolls but inventory was full so gcould not pick up it has been 5-10 min so far have not seen it yet
Why is your inventory full is the real problem here

Log out and back in check the mail the data update in wow is lacking.
In rare occasions that it does not come to you in the mail, you can contact Blizzard about it and they can look at their logs and will give you the item. They did that to me once when I got sweet loot, my bags were full and it did not show up in the mail. Its not a smart thing to do to go into a raid with full bags and Blizz will likely look at it as your fault that happened so I am lucky that they actually gave me the piece in an actual blue Blizzard mail. Years ago that that happened but to my knowledge they still do that.

The mailbox method has never failed me - that being said - it does take some time. If after 30-60 mins though it doesn’t show up, probably best to submit a ticket. And if it shows up in the mean time just delete the ticket.
BUT…to solve this in the future - clean yo bags! >.<
