Alliance premades vs Horde Pugs will be the name of the game.
Alliance premades will test a Horde premade. If they think it’s going to be a rollover, they will stay. If they think the Horde will be able to put up any kind of resistance that slows them, they will afk out and the instance will close sending horde back to queue again.
Alliance Pugs will afk out against Horde premades, closing the bg and sending horde back to queue again.

However, even with these changes announced today, there is a very high chance AV will still be the ranking meta. Premades should still be able to get 30ish people in pretty consistently which is plenty to dominate in 7 minute matches.
This is exactly how I remember it in vanilla. And it sucked because back then we couldn’t get many horde premades going for WSG. And when it wasn’t like this, it was an hour long match of stalemating with both teams holding each others flags.
I doubt AV will still be the meta. Horde will still turtle. If youre 5 man group gets a back filled 60 min turtle game, you honor gains are screwed. 10 man premade WSGs winning in 8 minutes for 2000-3000 honor will be the way to go
Its like people have gone completely mad and forgot about all the addons that will allow alliance premading to happen still. come back to the forums in 3 - 4 weeks and there will still be topics focused on it.
It would be alliance premades vs pugs, and horde premades vs pugs. My complaint with the AV number fix is that it only addresses AV… and queue dodging will become rampant in Classic just like it was in Vanilla if other bg’s become better for honor farming. If they had just given people deserter for declining a bg invite it would have solved both problems.
Premades can form up into 5 man groups then use the group queue addon to all queue at the exact same time
5 man groups will decrease the chance of getting placed in a back filled game. It’s still a crap shoot
My bet is WSG becomes the new meta for honor gains. WSG kils give substantially more honor and thanks the diminishing return changes, its even better. A solid 10 man WSG premade can win in 8 minutes as well.

It’s ok though, because they didn’t need it. They were all pumped up on whiskey, beer, tequilla, I have no idea why, what the occasion was but they were determined to whoop it up by doing some group WSG and having some fun.
I wont pretend to understand all of the rules of this deathroll because i don’t do it myself (I have notiriously terrible dice) but here was one of the sequences.

then blizzard will ADJUST and give horde a 2-0 advantage along with invulnerable fcs
